Tomorrow night, the Moon will almost disappear.

During the night of 27th–28th August, the Full Moon will pass deep into Earth’s shadow. At its peak, 96.3% of her surface will be covered by the umbra, the darkest part of our planet’s shadow.

Only a narrow edge of moonlight will remain.

The rest may turn copper, rust and blood-red as sunlight passes through Earth’s atmosphere before reaching the lunar surface.

For those watching from the UK, the eclipse unfolds in the early hours of Friday morning. Its deepest moment arrives at approximately 5:13am BST, with the Moon sitting low toward the west-southwestern horizon.

No eclipse glasses are needed. Just clear skies, an open view and the willingness to wake while most of the world is sleeping.

There is something powerful about watching darkness move across the Moon without destroying her light.

She is not gone.

She has not been extinguished.

She is still there beneath the shadow, waiting for the Earth to move and her brightness to return.

Perhaps tomorrow night, the Moon will remind you of the same truth:

You can pass through darkness without becoming it.

You can be hidden without being lost.

You can disappear from the world for a while and still return as yourself.

A Quick Update for My Clients ❤️

As some of you may have heard, the spa will be closing at the end of August. Myo Solace is not closing, but I will be looking for a new location to continue seeing clients.

If you know of a treatment room or office space with minimal stairs, I would truly appreciate you reaching out.

I will be taking appointments until the end of August. Depending on how quickly I find a new space, there may be a short interruption in appointments. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this transition.
