Divorce Support/Therapy Group – Getting Stronger Together
A support and therapy group for women going through a separation or divorce.
The end of a committed relationship is painful and weaved into the grief of this loss are often overwhelming feelings of hurt, anger, resentment, diminished self-worth, fear, and anxiety about the future. It is a lot to bear, especially if we think we need to bear it alone.
Knowing that you are not alone, feeling that you are supported, and believing in the possibility of a brighter future are key elements that promote healing and moving beyond healing… into your best life.
Getting Stronger Together is currently an online group that meets biweekly for women going through a separation or divorce. Each woman has her own story and as a group we provide a safe place to talk to listen and to share our collective wisdom and compassion. We can get stronger together.
This group is led by Lynne Brown RP(Qualifying). Lynne’s background includes a variety of academic, work, and life experiences. Her education includes a Master of Science, Bachelor of Education and Master’s in Counselling Psychology degree. Her personal life journey guided her to a career as a psychotherapist when a focus on wellbeing and mental health became a priority during difficult times. Lynne works with clients who are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions.
