September is Myopia Action Month!

Myopia (nearsightedness) often progresses throughout childhood, but early detection and management can help slow its progression and may reduce the risk of developing sight-threatening eye diseases later in life.

📚 With a new school year around the corner, now is a great time to check your child’s vision and make sure their eyes are on the right track.

Book an eye exam today and take action for your child’s long-term eye health.

August is Children’s Eye Safety month!

Sports goggles are highly recommended as regular glasses are not designed to withstand impact!

If a ball ⚾️, elbow 💪, or other equipment 🥍 hits them, the glasses can shatter or bend, causing severe injuries to the eye and surrounding area 🤕

Sports goggles are:
1. Made of impact-resistant materials (both frame and lenses)
2. Wrapped around the entire eye area and are strapped behind the head
3. Made in your child’s specific prescription to see their best on the field

Check out our selection of sports goggles in our Eyewear Gallery and ask our opticians more about them!

Happy Earth Day!

Did you know caring for your eyes can also help care for the planet?

This Earth Day, we’re encouraging small changes that make a big impact:
♻️ Choose durable, high-quality frames that last longer
📦 Recycle your old glasses—donate them to give someone else the gift of sight
💧 Reduce waste by properly caring for your contact lenses and cases
