On Monday September 14th at 6:00pm Freedom Concepts will be joining us at Variety Village with a selection of adapted bikes. Our OTA/PTA Moira Bayne will also be bringing a selection of her adapted bikes. This event is for both clients who wish to try bikes, and therapists who wish to see the products and understand more about what they offer.

These workshops are for caregivers and infants 0-12 months, and give the opportunity to practice hands on developmental skills with paediatric physiotherapists and/ or occupational therapists.

Madison is an Expressive Arts Therapist and Qualifying Registered Psychotherapist. She is keen to incorporate client’s interests into therapeutic strategies, is quick to adapt to client needs, and maintains a client-centred, trauma-informed approach. Madison places great emphasis on accessibility in the therapeutic space and believes that joy, accessed through creative expression and play, is a primary tool for healing ♥️💛

Meet our new occupational therapy student- Mariella!

Mariella is an OT2 student starting her final placement at PPA, and she is excited to spend the summer with the team ☀️

Mariella has always loved working with kids. Before OT school, she worked in aquatics at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, at overnight camps, and taught dance.

In her free time she loves going to concerts, adventuring in nature with her dog Nala, and watching sports.

We are excited to welcome Mariella to the team! ♥️💛
