Maybe the messiness, the heartbreak, the uncertainty, and the moments that bring us to our knees are all part of what it means to be human.

And maybe, by divine design, it was always meant to be this way.

There is so much about this life we will never fully understand. So much we will experience that we never could have prepared ourselves for. And so much that the people around us are moving through that we know absolutely nothing about.

But I do believe that through our own experiences of pain, we have the opportunity to deepen our compassion for others. To recognize ourselves in one another, even when our lives, beliefs, and experiences look completely different.

We’re all here having this very human experience, trying to make sense of it as we go.

And I think we could all use a little more kindness along the way.

Especially from ourselves. 🤎

Some experiences are hard to explain because they are meant to be felt.

If you’re ready to feel different in your life from the way you’re living now, I highly recommend this very special weekend called Magnetic.

I’ll be there next year. Go get yourself on the waitlist now because you definitely want to be in this room.

Comment REMEMBERING and I’ll send you the free 23-minute guided return.

I keep thinking about the women who raised us.
Most of them were never asked what they wanted either. They were handed the same list, they got on with things, and they passed down what they had, the way their mothers did before them.

But something else got passed down too.

Watch a woman when she says “I just know.” Her hand goes to the center of her chest, almost always, without her realizing it. She’s pointing at the place that told her.
This isn’t a thought. It’s a faculty, an organ of knowing, sitting in the chest, doing its work whether or not we’re listening.

We weren’t born disconnected from that. We were slowly separated from it, until we started to doubt the very thing that was telling us the truth.

It’s old, this knowing. Older than any rule we were handed about how to be good. Older than anyone who ever told a woman how to be. And it was never kept anywhere it could be taken from us. It lives in the body, and every woman is still born with it.

That’s why I call this work a remembering. The knowing was never lost. It lives deep in the body, and waits for you to listen.

The Remembering is 23 minutes of learning to listen to it again.

Comment REMEMBERING and I’ll send it to your DMs.

Comment REMEMBERING and I’ll send you the free 23-minute guided return.

You’ve done a lot of becoming. A better mother. A better partner. More disciplined, more healed, more self-aware. And every version of better came with another place to go looking for the answer.

Most of it probably helped. But somewhere in all that looking, you got used to checking everywhere else before checking with yourself.

The Remembering goes the other direction. It’s a short PDF and a 23-minute guided, body-based experience. It’s not a meditation to help you relax, and there’s nothing in it for you to master.

Inside:
✨You’ll meet the part of you that’s gotten very good at managing everything
✨You’ll give her permission to put one thing down
✨You’ll listen underneath all the thinking, so you can hear what you know before your mind talks you out of it
✨You’ll leave with one small practice for the next time you catch yourself slipping back into the shoulds

Give yourself somewhere private, headphones if you have them, and 23 minutes where you don’t have to do anything for anyone else.

Comment REMEMBERING and it’ll be in your DMs.

Maybe you’re at that point where your life looks fine from the outside… but you know something in you is ready for more. Maybe you’re tired of second-guessing yourself. Tired of carrying the same patterns, fears, roles, and expectations into every new chapter. Tired of feeling like you know yourself intellectually, but somehow still aren’t fully living as her. And under all of that, there’s a version of you who feels clear. Alive. Self-trusting. Fully in her own life. That’s the woman Magnetic is designed to bring you closer to!!

Two days in Fort Lauderdale with Dr. Amanda Hanson, surrounded by women doing the kind of work that goes beyond simply understanding yourself intellectually and into actually experiencing yourself differently.

More clarity. More self-trust. More permission to take up space in your own life. More access to the parts of you that may have been quiet for a very long time.

I’ll be there October 3rd + 4th.🤍

I think we’re a lot like plants.

Certain plants are native to certain places because that’s where they naturally thrive. The soil, the sun, the air… it all matters.

I think people are the same.

There are places that just feel good to us. Where our energy shifts. Our bodies soften. We feel more alive, more ourselves.

Maybe we aren’t meant to thrive everywhere.

Sometimes you just need different soil.

You’d never call yourself a collector. And yet.
I know. I didn’t see mine either, until I put one thing down after another and felt the difference.

We spend our whole lives collecting. More things. More achievements. More titles. More proof that we matter.

And somewhere along the way, we start collecting the other stuff too. Heartbreak. Betrayal. Expectations. Regret. Old versions of ourselves. We carry all of it.

But one day, every single one of us leaves this earth with none of it. Not the house. Not the money. Not the resentment. Not the guilt. Not the shame or the pain. Not the story.

So lately I’m not asking what else I need. I’m asking what still owns me. What expectation. What fear. What role. What identity. And one by one, can I leave them here.

Because if I have to put it all down eventually, how much can I put down while I’m still here to feel the lightness?

Finish this sentence for me: “I’m ready to put down ______.” Drop it below. I’ll go first. 👀

And if a woman came to mind while you read this, send it to her. She’s probably been carrying hers a long time.

I’m learning that the most valuable thing you’ll ever own is the ability to let go.

There’s more to this one. I’m going deeper this week into how you actually put something down, because knowing you’re carrying it and knowing how to set it down aren’t the same thing.

Ok but seriously. If you’re always rushing from one thing to the next...

Answering the email. Making the appointment. Cleaning the kitchen. Picking up the kids. Crossing off the list.
Thinking about the next thing before you’ve even finished the one you’re doing...

Your body never receives the message that you’re safe. It begins to believe that life is one long emergency.

And when your nervous system lives there long enough, you slowly stop hearing yourself.

Your intuition gets quieter. Your body gets louder.
You feel disconnected from the woman you used to be.
You wake up tired. You carry tension without realizing you’re carrying it. You begin surviving a life you were hoping to actually experience.

You cannot heal the body in the same rush that’s exhausting you. Sooner or later the body will start speaking up.

Try this instead. Before moving on to the next thing, pause. Take one slow breath. Feel your feet on the ground. Look around the room. Let your body catch up to where you already are. This way you’re teaching your nervous system (your body) that nothing is chasing you.

That this moment is safe. That you don’t have to earn your peace by finishing everything first.

Because the woman you’re trying to become isn’t waiting on the other side of a completed to-do list.

She becomes available the moment your body remembers it’s safe enough to come home. 🤍

What are we all rushing around for anyways? What is so urgent? Slow it down.
