Kat International Wellness Hormone health & wellness for high-performing women ready to reclaim their power. Hypothyroidism | PCOS | Postpartum | Perimenopause

AT THE AGE OF 17, I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH HYPOTHYROIDISM

After many tests and numerous visits to the doctor, I was put on a pill which my body rejected. My Endocrinologist suggested to do a radioactive iodine treatment which lowers the thyroid hormone level to its regular production. Unfortunately, that destroyed my thyroid gland, production of the thyroid hormone and turned it into hypothyroidism. At that point, I was prescribed Synthroid which is a drug that has strong side effects and must be taken for life. MY PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION

After years of struggle, major weight gain, and weighing 183lbs at my heaviest at the age of 29, I decided to take control of my life by setting a goal to compete with the WBFF in the transformation division in July 2018 in NYC. That decision changed my life. I placed 1st in Transformation and 3rd in Bikini. Fast forward to 2019 I competed in the WBFF Orlando show and placed 4th out of 10. Now I have set a new goal to get my WBFF Pro Card. HOW KAT INTERNATIONAL FITNESS BEGAN

I had no idea what I was doing all those years without the gym. The way it has made me feel mentally and emotionally is indescribable. It has instilled discipline in me, it has pushed me to my limits and beyond. It has brought out both physical and mental strength I did not know I had but above all it has allowed me to take back control of my life from hypothyroidism. The most important way it has changed my life is how it’s affecting those around me. The amount of people that have reached out asking for help and guidance with hypothyroidism, weight loss, goals to step on stage or to simply get their confidence back has been overwhelming and so inspiring. That became my calling card for the launch of KAT International Fitness.

You don’t need another wellness account telling you to eat less and try harder👀
You need to understand what the hell is actually happening in your body.

So, hi. I’m Kat💗

I’m here for the high-performing woman who can run a business, lead a team, manage a family and handle everyone else’s problems…
but somewhere along the way, her own health ended up at the bottom of the list.

The woman who’s tired of:
→ starting another diet every Monday
→ blaming herself because the scale won’t move
→ feeling exhausted despite “doing everything right”
→ being told her symptoms are normal
→ losing weight only to gain it back
→ feeling completely disconnected from her body

Around here, we talk about hormonal health, hypothyroidism, PMOS/PCOS, perimenopause, postpartum, GLP-1 support, strength training, sustainable weight loss, sleep, stress, boundaries and actually having a LIFE while getting healthy.

No punishment.
No all-or-nothing bu****it.
No sacrificing your health to be successful.
And yes… occasionally there will be croissants🥐😂

Because I don’t want you spending the rest of your life dieting.
I want you to learn how to take control of your health so you can actually LIVE it.

So if that sounds like the kind of corner of Instagram you’ve been looking for…
follow along. 💕

And if you’re already here, tell me👇🏼
What originally made you follow me: hormones, weight loss, GLP-1, fitness, mindset… or my unfiltered personality? 😂

Tag or send this to the high-performing woman who needs to be here too🦋

Erika didn’t come to us because she simply wanted to become a smaller bride. She came to us because she was exhausted🫠

As a busy entrepreneur, she was building a business, planning a wedding 💍 and carrying the symptoms of PMOS without a clear understanding of what to do next.

She was experiencing stubborn belly fat, significant weight gain around her stomach, acne, facial and body hair, dark patches on her neck, ovarian cysts and constant exhaustion. She also used a CPAP machine for sleep apnea.

She had spent too long without a clear, personalized plan for her nutrition, movement and overall health.

Her wedding gave her a deadline, but it wasn’t her deepest reason for starting🤍

Erika wanted to improve her health ahead of future pregnancy attempts. She wanted to feel better mentally, emotionally and physically. Most of all, she wanted to be more present in her own life and for the people she loved.

After five months of working together, Erika:

✨ Lost 22 pounds
✨ Lost 32.6 inches across her body
✨ Felt incredible on her wedding day
✨ Continues to maintain her results

Her transformation is a reminder that women with PMOS do not need more shame, punishment or generic advice.

🩵 They deserve to be heard.
🩵 They deserve an individualized strategy.
🩵 They deserve support that considers their health, lifestyle and goals as a whole.

During PMOS Awareness Month, share Erika’s story 🔁 with a woman who may need the reminder that her symptoms are not a reflection of her discipline and she does not have to navigate them alone.

PCOS was NEVER just about ovarian cysts. And women deserved to know that sooner👏🏼

This , we need to talk about what this condition can actually look like.

Irregular or missing periods.
Difficulty losing weight.
Insulin resistance and metabolic changes.
Acne.
Unwanted facial or body hair.
Hair thinning.
Fatigue.
Fertility challenges.
Changes in mood and mental well-being.
And yet so many women have spent YEARS being told to simply “lose weight,” “eat less,” or “try harder.”

No.

Your symptoms are not a reflection of your discipline, your work ethic or your worth.

This is why I use the term PMOS-Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome- because this is so much bigger than whether or not there are “cysts” on your ovaries.

And treatment shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all either.

Nutrition. Strength training. Daily movement. Sleep. Stress management. Metabolic health. Hormonal health. And appropriate medical support all deserve to be part of the conversation.

Women deserve answers BEFORE they spend years thinking their body is fighting against them.

👇🏼 If you live with PCOS/PMOS, what is ONE thing you wish someone had explained to you sooner?

Tell me in the comments. Your answer may be exactly what another woman needs to read today 🙏🏼

SAVE this for the days you question yourself & SEND it to a woman who needs to hear this💖

The scale can stay EXACTLY the same while your body is giving you signs that things are moving in the right direction. 👀

And if you have hypothyroidism, you need to hear this.
Because it’s easy to wake up, step on the scale, see the same number and immediately think:
“Nothing is working.”

But what if...
You didn’t hit snooze three times this morning.
You made it through your afternoon without desperately needing another coffee.
You finished an email without reading the same sentence over and over.
Your hands weren’t freezing at your desk.
You actually had energy for your workout, and left feeling stronger instead of completely drained.
You got dressed without changing your outfit five times.
And maybe you caught yourself in the mirror and thought...

“There I am.”

THAT is progress too🫶🏼

I know how easy it is to let the scale determine whether you’re having a “good” or “bad” day.
But your health is so much bigger than one number.

Pay attention to your energy.
Your strength.
Your focus.
Your confidence.
Your ability to actually be present in your life.
Because sometimes the first signs of progress aren’t pounds lost.

They’re pieces of YOU coming back 🦋

💬 If you have hypothyroidism, tell me in the comments: Which of these would mean the MOST to you right now: ENERGY, FOCUS, STRENGTH, or CONFIDENCE?

Before you start another weight loss plan, ask yourself these 4 questions👇🏼

Because losing weight is one thing.
Losing it in a way you can actually maintain is another.

So many women start with:
“I need to lose 20 lbs.”
“I need to get back on track.”
“I just need more discipline.”

But before changing your food, adding more cardio or chasing another number on the scale, get clear on what you’re actually trying to change.

✨ WHY do you want this?
Not because you think you should lose weight. What would feeling healthier, stronger and more confident actually change for you?

✨ WHAT is the real goal?
Maybe it’s fat loss. Maybe it’s having energy again. Feeling comfortable in your clothes. Improving your health. Feeling strong in your body. Your goal is bigger than a number.

✨ WHAT has stopped you before?
Restriction? All-or-nothing thinking? Trying to be perfect? Starting over every Monday? Doing more and eating less every time progress slows?

✨ WHAT happens after you reach it?
If the strategy you use to lose the weight isn’t something you can realistically maintain, it was never a long-term strategy.

Your answer matters.

Because sustainable weight loss isn’t about finding the most extreme plan you can tolerate.

It’s about building the nutrition, movement, strength, sleep, stress management and daily habits that support your metabolic health, hormonal health and lifestyle long after the weight comes off.

Don’t just ask, “How fast can I lose the weight?”
Ask:
“Can I still see myself living this way when I’ve reached my goal?”
That question changes everything🦋

SAVE this before starting your next weight loss journey.
SHARE it with a woman who needs to hear this.

POV: you stop waiting for perfect conditions to enjoy your life🌧️💃🏻✨
Toronto was POURING for HUGEL… and somehow that made the night even better.
I’m not a late-night, club-every-weekend girl anymore. That chapter just isn’t my vibe.

But incredible music, dancing, concerts, laughing until my face hurts and making memories with my girls? THAT will always have a place in my life🩵

Because female friendships matter.
Girls’ nights matter.
Having people around you who make you laugh, hype you up, bring good energy and remind you to actually enjoy the life you’re working so hard to build… matters.

And this is part of wellness too🦋

Wellness isn’t only workouts, nutrition, supplements, sleep and routines.
It’s connection.
It’s dancing.
It’s music that makes you feel alive.
It’s laughter.
It’s positive energy.
It’s being present enough to make the memory instead of worrying about the rain.

Bring your own sunshine wherever you go☀️
And when life gives you rain? DANCE IN IT🌧️💃🏻🙌🏼

Your healthiest life shouldn’t feel like a list of rules you have to follow.
It should be a life you actually LOVE living👑

Tag the girls you need a night like this with 👇🏼✨

And tell me: concert & dancing or dinner & home by 10? And you can totally be and do both! ✨🩵

If you’re a woman trying to lose weight, support your hormones and improve your metabolism, doing MORE isn’t always the answer.

More restriction.
More cardio.
More tracking.
Less food.
Less sleep.
More pressure on yourself to somehow do it all perfectly.
And yet… you’re still exhausted, frustrated with your body and wondering why all that effort isn’t translating into the results you think it should.

As a Hormone Health Coach, there are a few things I intentionally DON’T do, and they’re probably the exact things you’ve been told you need to do to get results.

I don’t let the scale determine whether I’m making progress.
I don’t count every calorie that goes into my mouth.
I don’t cut carbs because I want to lose body fat.
I don’t destroy myself with HIIT because someone told me harder workouts = a faster metabolism.

And I will NOT sacrifice sleep just so I can wake up at 5AM, check another thing off my list and call it “discipline.”

Because sustainable weight loss, hormone health and a strong metabolism aren’t built by constantly pushing your body harder.

They’re built by learning what your body actually needs, and creating a strategy you can consistently live with.

Especially for the woman who is already carrying a career, a family, a packed schedule, stress, responsibilities… and maybe even navigating things like hypothyroidism, low energy, stubborn weight changes or hormonal shifts.

You don’t necessarily need MORE discipline.
You may need to stop following strategies that were never designed for your body in the first place.

📲 SEND this to the woman who still thinks she needs to eat less, train harder and obsess over the scale to see results.

And FOLLOW for realistic hormone health, metabolism, strength training & sustainable weight loss strategies for busy women who are done fighting their bodies🦋

Balance is making room for your goals without removing yourself from the equation ⚖️

Your health, your movement, your peace, your boundaries, your routines-these are priorities🦋

Don’t become so busy building the life you want that you lose yourself in the process!

A regulated nervous system doesn’t mean you never get overwhelmed, stressed, emotional or tired.

It means you’re becoming better at returning to yourself when you do🤍
And I think this is something so many high-performing women overlook.

We get so used to being “on” all the time.
Producing.
Achieving.
Taking care of everyone else.
Answering every notification.
Thinking 10 steps ahead.
Pushing through exhaustion because there’s always something else that needs to get done.

Eventually, being stressed can start to feel so normal that you don’t even realize how much tension you’re carrying😣

Regulation isn’t about removing every stressor from your life.
It’s learning how to move through stress without living there.
It’s boundaries.
It’s recovery.
It’s slowing down without guilt.
It’s listening to your body instead of constantly overriding it.
It’s creating routines that make you feel supported instead of depleted.
And sometimes the biggest signs of progress aren’t visible in a before & after photo.

They’re in how you sleep.
How you respond.
How you rest.
How you speak to yourself.
And how safe you feel simply being still.

THAT is the goal 🎯

Which one of these 10 signs have you noticed in yourself lately? 👇🏼
