Sometimes, low self-esteem sounds like:

“I’m not good enough.”
“I should be doing more.”
“Everyone else seems to have it figured out.”
“I don’t like the way I see myself.”

For many young women, self-esteem can be shaped by comparison, perfectionism, social media, relationships, and the pressure to meet expectations.

But struggling with self-worth doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. 💛

Building self-esteem starts with learning to understand where those critical thoughts come from, challenging the expectations we place on ourselves, and creating a kinder relationship with who we are.

Our latest blog explores low self-esteem in young women, some common signs to look out for, and ways to begin building greater confidence and self-worth.

You deserve to feel comfortable being yourself—not because you’ve achieved enough, but because you are enough.

As parents, it's natural to wonder:
💭 Is this just a phase?
💭 Should I be worried?
💭 How do I know if my child needs extra support?

The truth is, children don't always have the words to tell us they're struggling. Sometimes, their emotions show up through changes in behaviour, sleep, school, friendships, or even physical complaints like headaches and stomachaches.

Not every difficult moment means your child needs therapy, but noticing patterns and trusting your instincts can make all the difference.
In our latest blog, we explore 12 signs that may indicate your child could benefit from therapy, what those signs might look like, and how early support can help children build healthy emotional skills that last a lifetime.

Remember: seeking therapy isn't a sign that you've failed as a parent. It's one more way of showing your child they're supported, understood, and never have to navigate big feelings alone. 💛

Have you ever replayed an argument hours later and thought, "Why didn't I say anything?" 💭

For some people, conflict doesn't spark a fight or an urge to leave. Instead, it triggers silence. Thoughts become harder to access, words disappear, and it can feel impossible to express what's happening inside.

These reactions aren't character flaws. They're often learned responses shaped by past experiences, relationships, and the ways we've adapted to feel safe.

Understanding your patterns is a powerful first step toward changing them. When we begin to recognize what's happening beneath the surface, we can respond to ourselves with more compassion and less judgment. 🌿
