Ashley Falco, M.A. Registered Psychotherapist

Ashley Falco, M.A. Registered Psychotherapist Compassion . Acceptance . Empathy I provide individual psychotherapy to those dealing with a range of psychological and emotional concerns.

I work with each client to alleviate distress, facilitate self-awareness and understanding, and develop effective solutions to the difficulties preventing individuals from reaching their full potential. My areas of practice include: anxiety, depression, perfectionism, life transitions, body image issues, substance abuse, trauma, grief/loss, self-esteem and confidence, family and relational and att

ention/learning related issues. My approach does not focus on diagnosis, but on each client's strength and capacity for meaningful change and self-growth. My work is inspired by a holistic view of the individual - physical, psychological, social, and spiritual - and recognizes that each of these elements plays a part in mental wellness. I employ an integrative approach, meaning I draw from various modalities as they best apply to a particular client's needs. My therapeutic orientation incorporates elements from several evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioural, Experiential-Humanistic and Emotion-Focused therapies. My work also focuses on helping clients develop self-acceptance and compassion. I earned my Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University and my Bachelor's degree, with an Honors Specialization in Psychology, from the the University of Western Ontario. I am a Registered psychotherapist in Ontario.
