For families who choose communal aquamation, their pet is cared for with the same dignity, compassion, and respect as every pet entrusted to us.

With this option, individual remains are not returned. Instead, pets are gently cared for together, and following the aquamation process, their shared remains are respectfully scattered in Lake Ontario at the beautiful Prince of Wales Park.

Many families find comfort in knowing their beloved companion's final resting place is a peaceful natural setting, surrounded by the beauty of the water and the memories of a life well loved.

Meet Gabrielle, Aftercare Associate.

Growing up on a farm, Gabrielle developed a deep love for animals, from raising a baby deer to cherishing her own horse, Rose. After becoming a mom, she reconnected with her passion for animals by completing the Veterinary Assistant program at Seneca Polytechnic, where she also earned the “Outstanding Leadership and Animal Care Award.”

Gabrielle brings her compassionate nature to her role at Faithful Pet Memorial, supporting families with care and empathy during difficult times. Outside of work, she enjoys being in nature with her daughter and their pets: a playful dog named Peach and two cats, Ruby and Silver.

How does aquamation work? 🤍

It’s a gentle, water-based process designed to care for your pet with dignity every step of the way. Pets are placed in their own private compartments, ensuring no co-mingling and complete peace of mind for families.

A warm solution of 95% water and 5% alkali slowly circulates over 20–24 hours, naturally breaking down tissue. The remaining bones are then carefully dried and processed into a fine, white powder, similar to ashes.

Because aquamation uses water instead of flame, it’s not only a more eco-friendly option, but it also returns about 20% more ashes back to you.

🧡 🌈 🐾 Remembering Bruna 🐾 🌈 🧡

Bruna was the sweetest, most loving companion that has ever lived.

She lived through a death.
She lived through two marriages.
She lived through getting a new dog (much to her annoyance).

Yesterday she was here, and today she is gone.

She passed peacefully in the morning with the sun warming her tired bones one last time.

Never complained, never even got sick, and even spared her owners from a long drawn out sadness of watching her slow decline by remaining strong until the very end.

Now, June 16th is Bruna's Day where we will celebrate her life by taking a moment to be kind to one another.

Run free, girl.

Till we meet again in my dreams.
