You can be functioning, productive, successful, supportive to others… and still feel overwhelmed underneath it all.

So many people spend years trying to “push through” anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, relationship struggles, ADHD, trauma, disordered eating, parenting challenges, and more - often wondering why things still feel hard despite trying their best.

One of the most difficult parts is that many people don’t actually know what kind of support they need, or where to begin.

At Toronto Psychology and Wellness Group, we believe mental health care should never feel one-size-fits-all. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to support the whole person through individualized, evidence-based care that meets people where they are.

Because sometimes healing doesn’t begin with “trying harder.”

Sometimes it begins with finally feeling understood.

As youth mental health and eating disorder needs continue to rise, access to specialized care has never been more important.

We’re proud to announce a significant expansion of TPWG’s clinical team and outpatient services with the addition of:

✨ Dr. Ilana Walters, Paediatrician
✨ Dr. Rachel Mitchell, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
✨ Sarah Krupat, Registered Dietitian

Together with our existing team of psychologists, therapists, physicians, and allied health professionals, this expansion strengthens both our Outpatient Eating Disorders Clinic and General Adolescent Mental Health Clinic, allowing us to provide more comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for young people and their families.

For schools, guidance counsellors, student support teams, youth-serving organizations, healthcare providers, and community partners, this means increased access to specialized assessment, consultation, treatment, and coordinated care for youth navigating:

• Eating disorders and disordered eating
• Anxiety and depression
• Emotional regulation challenges
• School avoidance and academic functioning concerns
• Family and social difficulties
• Complex adolescent mental health presentations

At TPWG, we believe young people deserve timely access to evidence-informed care delivered by professionals who understand the unique challenges of adolescence.

We’re excited to continue partnering with schools, healthcare providers, and youth-serving organizations across our community to help youth thrive.

Before the summer season began, our CARE Program had the privilege of hosting a webinar for overnight camp directors and staff focused on supporting youth living with eating disorders in camp settings.

As awareness of youth mental health and eating disorders continues to grow, organizations are increasingly seeking practical, evidence-informed strategies to create safe, supportive environments for young people. Through CARE (Connected Access to Resources & Expertise), we partner with schools, camps, and youth-serving organizations to build knowledge, confidence, and capacity in responding to eating disorder concerns.

As schools wrap up another academic year and begin planning for September, now is the ideal time to explore how your community can be better equipped to support students, families, and staff.

We offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation to learn about your organization’s needs and discuss customized partnership opportunities, including education, training, consultation, and ongoing support.

Together, we can strengthen the systems that help young people thrive.

Some people are not healing from who they are.

They are healing from what the world did to them when they showed it.

This month, we honour Pride in all the quiet, brave, beautiful ways people learn to become fully themselves and in the moments the world finally learns to let everyone in. 🌈🤍

Summer can bring up a lot when you’re navigating an eating disorder.

More visibility, disrupted routines, constant messaging about how your body “should” look.

You’re not doing something wrong if this season feels heavy. Recovery doesn’t pause, and you don’t have to do this alone.
