Exciting news! 📣 Registration is open for our Emotion Focused Therapy for Youth (EFT-Y) Clinician Training, led by Dr. Mirisse Farinaz Foroughe, C. Psych.

This two-day, in-person training will introduce clinicians and graduate students to the theoretical, technical, and practical components of EFT-Y, with opportunities for experiential skills practice, seminars, and video-based learning.

Led by Dr. Mirisse Farinaz Foroughe, C. Psych., this virtual training introduces clinicians to Emotion Focused Therapy for families through theoretical, technical, and practical learning, reinforced with seminars, video presentations, and experiential skills practice.

Clinicians with prior emotion focused training and those who are new to the model are welcome. The training is also open to graduate students and individuals with no previous emotion focused therapy training.

Led by Dr. Mirisse Foroughe, C. Psych., this four-day training introduces an emotion focused approach to working with youth, parent-child dyads, co-parent dyads, and families.

This training is designed for therapists who are new to EFT, as well as clinicians with previous EFT experience who want to expand their skills in youth and family therapy.

We are excited to announce our Dungeons & Dragons Therapy Group at the Family Psychology Centre!

Beginning late February 2026, this 12-week after-school program at the Family Psychology Centre supports youth experiencing anxiety or emotion regulation challenges.

Using therapeutically facilitated D&D, participants engage in collaborative storytelling that supports emotional, social, and cognitive skill development in a safe and engaging environment. Contact [email protected] to learn more or register.
