⏳ Only 4 days until the first day of sailing.
Membership is full, and the excitement is building:
* 48% of members have already booked their sails
90% have done their waivers - this is needed to book sails
* 50% of all sail slots are filled

⛵💙 We're holding a Silent Auction!
This year’s Season Launch will be a meaningful and celebratory gathering as we look ahead to another vibrant season on the water. Our Silent Auction will raise funds for new power‑assist technology, including adaptive steering and sheeting systems designed by our team. Your support will help us acquire the components needed to bring this system to life and expand access for sailors with limited mobility. It is because of generous donors like you that Able Sail Toronto can continue offering these vital programs to individuals living with physical disabilities.

Today our staff took the Martin16 out for hands‑on practice in both sailing and companion sailing, strengthening the teamwork and technical skills that make barrier‑free sailing possible.

Our staff spent the day practicing safe transfers and setup using the KAPE Seat II on a sailor.
This training builds the confidence and technical skill that keep our program safe, empowering, and barrier‑free on the water.

What is the favorite cushion of our sailors? It is the Geo-Matrix cushion. They are made of a proprietary dry-polymer solid gel, primarily formulated from food-grade mineral oil. This gel is latex-free and silicone-free, and is engineered into an open-column geometric shape to provide optimal pressure redistribution, vibration dampening, and temperature.
