For more than 35 years, I have begun every Reiki session with the same first hand position.

People often ask why I always start here. The answer is simple—it has become the foundation of the way I work with healing energy.

Over the years, this first hand position has taught me so much about the connection between healing light, the chakras, and the energy body. It eventually became the foundation of the Soul Healing Technique.

Why do we use our hands in healing?

Across many healing traditions, the hands have been used as a way to connect with healing energy.

The hands are natural channels for healing light. Learning to connect with this energy is the foundation of healing work.

After more than 35 years of practising, teaching, and working with thousands of people, this understanding led me to develop the Soul Healing Technique.
