🦷 3 Facts About Wisdom Teeth:
Not everyone gets them! Some people are born without wisdom teeth, and that's totally normal.
In most cases, it's better to remove them. For many, wisdom teeth can cause discomfort or future dental issues, so extraction is often recommended.
They can disrupt alignment. Wisdom teeth can push against your other teeth, leading to crowding or misalignment if not addressed.
Wondering if it’s time to remove your wisdom teeth? Call 416-762-9706 to schedule a consultation!

Being diligent about your child's routine exams and cleanings allows us to catch potential dental issues early on when they’re easier to treat. Early detection also makes it less likely that your child will have to miss school for a dental appointment to address the child's tooth pain.
Around 52 million hours of school are missed every year because of dental problems and procedures. Additionally, dental cavities are the number one childhood illness! Cavities can be avoided by practicing good oral health and making sure to bring your child to the dentist every six months for a dental cleaning and a checkup.
Studies have shown that having good dental health contributes to good overall health.

Getting your children’s dental appointments out of the way before school can be a great way to make sure your kids start the year off with clean, beautiful smiles!

Do you grind your teeth while you sleep?
Teeth grinding (bruxism) is more common than you might think and is often linked to stress, anxiety, or bite problems. Over time, it can wear down your teeth, cause jaw pain, headaches, and even lead to cracked or damaged teeth.
Regular dental checkups can detect the early signs of bruxism. If needed, your dentist may recommend a custom night guard or other treatments to help protect your smile.
Don't let teeth grinding damage your teeth- schedule your dental checkup today.

Do your teeth hurt when you eat or drink something hot or cold?
Tooth sensitivity is often a sign that your enamel has worn down or your gums have receded, exposing the inner layer of the tooth.
Don't ignore the discomfort. Using the right toothpaste, brushing gently, and visiting your dentist can help identify the cause and relieve sensitivity.
Book your dental checkup and enjoy every bite without the pain.

Your toothbrush can't reach every spot.
Even if you brush twice a day, plaque and tartar can build up in hard-to-reach areas.
That's why professional dental cleanings are so important. They help:
- Remove stubborn plaque and tartar
- Reduce the risk of cavities and gum disease
- Keep your smile looking and feeling its best
A healthy smile starts with prevention.

Straighten your smile with confidence.
Crooked or misaligned teeth can affect more than just your appearance. They may make it harder to chew, impact your bite, and even make oral hygiene more challenging.
The good news? You don't always need traditional metal braces.
Clear aligners offer a discreet, comfortable, and effective way to gradually straighten your teeth while fitting seamlessly into your daily routine.
At Pacific Dental, Dr. David Sacoransky will assess your smile and help you determine whether clear aligners are the right solution for you.
Take the first step toward the smile you've always wanted - schedule your consultation today!

• maintain the health of your teeth and gums;
• save time and money in the long run;
• enjoy a healthy smile every day.
