- I am grateful every day to have such an amazing family (blood and chosen), wonderful husband, and a job I love - where I get to be surrounded by dogs every day. When I first started this business, after poyo's mom passed, I told myself life is so short and that I need to live in the present not in fear. 9 years later, Poyo passed and life stood still - i lost myself in grief, business simultaneously was the worst ever and many of the dogs i watched grow up started to pass away. I started to live in fear again: I feared loss - aniticipatory grief. When I could lift my head up again - 2 years later - I am so grateful to have had the chance to love Poyo and for the profound impact he made on my life. He and Michelle were the reason I started this business and because of Liberty Pooch so much joy and love has been brought into my life. I am back to living in the present: time is precious. Fights, grudges, aniticipatory grief and pettiness are a waste of time. I am thankful not just today but everyday. Thank-you to my family, friends, clients, neighbours, doggos and random strangers who smile at me on my walks or are kind for no reason.
