Play And Pause Yoga

Play And Pause Yoga Helping women 40+ feel vibrant & balanced through yoga, Ayurveda & meditation. Founder of Play and Pause Yoga. Let's connect

Supporting your journey with kindness, & practices that meet you where you are. PlayandPause Yoga represents all my interest coming together. I was introduced to Yoga practice twenty years ago and at the time I have studied Psychology. First Yoga practice was a physical practice for me, helping me with the back pain and body posture, but very fast it become so much more. My awe regarding the knowl

edge of the ancient yoga traditions (5000 years old) and modern science conformation of the same made me a student of Yoga for life. The PlayandPause Yoga pagees, website and live classes are the place where I share what I have learned with you with the hope that it will spark curiosity in you as it has in me.

Hello again.

I’ve been quiet here for the past month and a half.

July gave me some much-needed time away from teaching, planning and posting — and I’m grateful for the pause.

Now, slowly, I’m coming back.
Back to my own routines.
Back to teaching.
Back to familiar faces and new ones.
Back to the work I genuinely enjoy.

There is quite a bit happening at Play & Pause this August — Morning Yoga, evening classes, Restorative Yoga, outdoor Sunday practices and Ayurvedic Massage.

I’ll share everything with you over the coming days.

For today, simply hello.

It’s good to be back. 🪷

Summer Oil is ready… ☀️🌹✨

For the past few weeks, herbs have been slowly infusing in oil, creating a blend inspired by the wisdom of Ayurveda and the energy of summer.

This oil was created to:
🌸 cool and soothe excess heat
🌸 nourish dry, sun-kissed skin
🌸 bring softness and ease to the body
🌸 support moments of rest, grounding, and self-care

In Ayurveda, oiling the body is more than skincare—it’s a beautiful ritual of nourishment and connection.

This special Summer Oil will also be part of my Ayurvedic Massage sessions.

✨ I have opened a few appointments for August for those who are craving deep rest, nervous system support, and a moment to simply receive.

An Ayurvedic massage is more than a massage—it’s a pause, a reset, and an invitation to come back home to yourself.

If your body has been whispering, “Slow down, take care of me,” this may be your sign. ❤️

Send me a message to reserve your August appointment. Limited spaces available.

Play with me this summer!

Two locations. Two communities. One intention: to spend more time outside, moving, breathing, laughing, and reconnecting with what matters.

According to Ayurveda, summer invites us to enjoy the sweet, bitter, and astringent qualities of the season. It is a time of sunshine, vitality, growth, and action. A time to move, explore, and enjoy life.

But it is also a time to find that sweet spot where we can enjoy the fire of summer without burning ourselves out.

Together, we’ll move with the rhythm of nature. We’ll breathe fresh air, feel the grass beneath our feet, look up at the trees, listen to the birds, and enjoy the gentle hum of people gathering in the park.

Something beautiful happens when we practice in community. We remember that wellness isn’t something we create alone. We feel supported. We laugh more. We connect. We belong.

This summer, expect movement and stillness, strength and rest, conversation and quiet moments. Expect sunshine, fresh air, and good company.

Most of all, expect to play.

Yesterday’s New Moon Retreat in Ta**us reminded us of something important:
life does not always unfold according to our plans.

The rain came, the weather changed, the ground softened beneath our feet… and still, we gathered for a beautiful day in nature.

There was something powerful in witnessing women embrace the moment instead of resisting it. Laughing, breathing, adjusting, supporting one another. A reminder that while we cannot control everything around us, we can choose how we meet it.

Women who had never met before shared openly, listened deeply, and uplifted one another with such genuine care. There is something deeply healing about community and being witnessed just as you are.

Thank you to every woman who joined us with an open heart. 🌧️🌿✨

And thank you for co-creating this beautiful experience together.

Tomorrow, under the grounding energy of the New Moon in Ta**us, we’ll gather for a day of yoga, rest, connection, intention, and nature. A gentle pause from the noise of everyday life — to remember what truly matters, what we need, and what we are ready to grow.

Ta**us reminds us to slow down enough to actually feel our life again.
To nourish the body.
To trust rhythm over rushing.
To plant intentions with care. 🌙✨

I can already feel the magic waiting for us there. 💞

“Mothering” takes many forms.

Sometimes it looks like raising children.
Sometimes it looks like holding a family together, caring for aging parents, supporting friends, building a business, teaching, healing, listening, or simply continuing to show up with love after difficult seasons.

This Mother’s Day, I am thinking about the women who carry so much quietly.

May you also feel held.
May your nervous system remember softness.
May rest become part of your healing too.

With love,
Andrijana

One of the most surprising things about yoga practice is what it reveals about the mind.

At first we think we are simply moving the body.

But slowly the practice begins to show us something deeper.

How we react when things become difficult.
How quickly comparison appears.
How the mind moves between effort, frustration, and patience.

Yoga becomes a quiet place of observation.

In yoga philosophy this is called
Svadhyaya.

Not analysis.
Not self-criticism.

Simply the willingness to notice what is happening within us.

Over time this awareness begins to change how we move through life - not only on the mat, but far beyond it.

✨ Have you ever noticed something about yourself during practice that surprised you?

If this kind of thoughtful, mindful practice resonates with you, you’re warmly invited to join our Morning Yoga practice.
