The difference between a successful client and an unsuccessful client, in my experience, is pretty simple: motivation and dedication. A trainer can provide a lot of the motivation, but the dedication comes from the client. The client really has to prioritize their health, their fitness, and make a point of taking time out of their busy week. Everybody’s busy, right? You’ve got to take those three or four hours a week, which really isn’t very much out of a week. 24-hour day, seven days, right? Four hours: not a lot of time. People just need to set that in their schedule, really take that time out to prioritize their health and fitness.
The program also, when you get into the gym, is really effective for weight loss purposes. Circuit training and the style of training we do here, combining weight training along with the cardiovascular training is really key to promoting quick simple results; weight loss in a short amount of time, maximizing the time that you spend in the gym.
One of the success stories that I’ve experienced in training was really simple. One of my clients was struggling. She was having a tough time losing weight, really getting discouraged. We made a simple correction in her diet that just made her a little more conscious of what she was eating, how much she was eating, and it turned things right around. She started losing weight, she got really motivated and the pounds just started falling off from there.
