What a way to celebrate 50 YEARS of Shaklee Canada! 🇨🇦⚡🎤
From proudly singing our Canadian National Anthem in the morning to ROCKING the Awards Night that evening, this was one very long and unforgettable day for Chyrell and me!
We’ve been part of the Shaklee family ourselves for almost 25 years, so being invited to perform for this milestone 50th Anniversary celebration meant so much to us. This wasn’t just another performance. We were celebrating a family and community that has been part of our lives for nearly a quarter of a century.
And when Awards Night came around… WE TURNED IT UP! 🔥⚡
The energy inside Steam Whistle Brewery in Toronto was absolutely ELECTRIC! The crowd got up, danced, sang, cheered and went WILD with us! We came ready to bring the music, the thunder and the electricity, and the Shaklee family gave every bit of that energy right back!
It was also pretty awesome having Shaklee Chairman & CEO Roger Barnett in the house, dancing, celebrating and enjoying the festivities along with everyone else!
A huge shoutout to DJ Rankin from the USA! 🇺🇸🎧 We were honoured to connect and work with him for the evening and have him be part of this incredible celebration.
And a special thank you to Ilona Mikulas for capturing all that excitement from the crowd on her iPhone! We had our own GoPro recording from the stage, while Ilona captured the celebration from the audience. Together, you can really see and FEEL the energy that was in that room! 🎥⚡
Our heartfelt thanks to Shaklee Canada General Manager Jackie McClement for giving us the opportunity to proudly perform for this milestone anniversary, and to the entire Shaklee Canada staff who worked so hard to make this incredible celebration happen.
We also want to thank Amy Le and the team from Shaklee Corporation Headquarters in the USA for this awesome opportunity. We are truly honoured and grateful to have been included in such a historic celebration.
And a very special and grateful thank you to our business partner and our Ninang (Godmother from our wedding), Charlene Day. ❤️
Charlene has ALWAYS believed in us and has never given up on us. She’s constantly keeping an eye out for singing opportunities at Shaklee events and encouraging us — okay, PUSHING us LOL — to get up there and perform! 😂 From Shaklee Idol to whatever singing opportunity comes along, Charlene somehow finds it and makes sure we know about it. Thank you, Charlene, for continuing to believe in us, encourage us and remind us to keep sharing what we love to do with our Shaklee family. It means more to us than you know.
We also want to give a huge shoutout to Bill and Nancy Firth, Martha Wilmore, Betty-Stolk Glabb, Diane Whitmore, Tasha Starr, and so many others throughout our Shaklee family who have supported us, encouraged us and believed in us through the years. ❤️
To all of you, and to everyone who danced, cheered, sang along and completely let loose with us that night, THANK YOU! You made this performance what it was.
