Realized it’s been a minute since I have done a yoga post 🙃.

Teaching and practicing vinyasa yoga has been a source of joy and inspiration in my life since I completed my training back in 2013!

Thank you community for showing up week after week to practice with me and take on a new pose every month.

Grasshopper has been the pose of interest for October, any thoughts for November ??

NEW: Pose of the Month Workshop!

Starting this month, every first Saturday of the month at 11:30AM we invite you to join us for a Pose of the Month Workshop!

September’s pose of the month is Parivrtta Ardha Chandrasana or revolved half-moon🌗

This will be a challenging and fun workshop that will leave you feeling accomplished and relaxed all at once. Not only will you learn the necessities, like how to properly do the pose of the month and various ways to get into it, but you will also deepen your knowledge of the yoga philosophy and mythology behind that particular posture. We will begin with a flow to warm ourselves up, transitioning into the workshop aspect and then wind down into restorative yoga. All levels welcome.

Get to know our class offerings. First up, our namesake: Yogathletix!

This 60 minute vinyasa flow style practice is perfect for those looking for an athletic yoga classroom. Yogathletix will be sure to energize your spirit, introduce you to new poses, improve well practiced positions, apply breath and mediation to your postures and safely push your limits. Options and modifications will be offered to accommodate all levels of skill however we do recommend moderate yoga experience for this class. Come to sweat and leave inspired!

Hey YOGAthletes! Somehow it’s already late August (when did that happen!?) This month we have been working with the theme: “Be Proud”.

We want you all to know how proud we are of your commitment to health and wellness, it’s been so great to see such large, full and vibrant classes all summer long! Family Yoga is Back!

We know you have been missing it and we have too! Family Yoga is popping up this Sunday August 20th at 4:30PM so don’t miss it!

This 45 minute practice is best suited for parents and children ages 1.5 - 5. Together we will play games, sing songs, use our imaginations, and build the foundations of a life-long yoga practice with your toddler or preschooler.

🚨New Class Alert! 🚨

Introducing Animal Flow 🦀🦍🐨🐗🐂🦬 This flow is a system that bridges the gap between all other physical practices. Through flowing sequences, you'll be guided to explore ground-based movements inspired by animals like apes, crabs, and beasts. The movements will foster improved strength, flexibility, coordination, and mobility. All levels welcome.

August pose of the month: Grasshopper aka Dragonfly or more traditionally Maksikanagasana.

Grasshopper is a complex arm balance which requires strength in the upper body to hold and balance, mobility through the trunk to access the deep twist and flexibility in the hips, giving us lot’s of focus and direction for classes this month.

Hey Yogathletes, where did July go!? This month we have been practicing the theme of being peaceful. It can be easy to get caught up in the whirlwind that is summer, but it’s important to remember to take time to slow down and rejuvenate to avoid burnout.

As we dive head first into the final week of July we have many opportunities for you to find a few extra minutes of peace and rejuvenation into your life. Whether it’s a Tuesday night Yogasana or a Friday night flow and restore, we want to encourage you to find a moment for YOU.

Join in-studio or at the beach for some well deserved you-time and find a moment of peace in your day.

🚨 Double Pop Up Alert! 🚨

This Sunday July 23rd we have not one, but TWO exciting Aerial Yoga pop-ups happening at the studio:

•(12PM) Aerial Yoga for Kids: Kids Aerial is for kids 6-12 years old and is an excellent way to excite kids and have fun while building strength, flexibility and mindfulness. This pop-up class is intended for those who are curious about an aerial after-school program and would like to try it out.

•(4:30PM) Aerial Yoga Foundations - Aerial Yoga Foundations is a hatha yoga practice with the support of an aerial hammock to cradle and suspend the body as you move through a fun and invigorating yoga practice. The practice is dynamic with a combination of lengthening, strengthening and fun-filled postures. In each class we will invert our bodies to explore a lengthening in the spine that no other practice can do! All levels welcome.
