Infants and young children can be profoundly affected by exposure to intimate partner violence (IPV), with impacts that extend across their development, relationships, and well-being. Yet recognizing these experiences and responding effectively can be challenging for professionals working with infants and families.

Join us for Working with Mothers Experiencing Intimate Partner Violence with Their Infants, an interactive virtual learning session led by Dr. Angelique Jenney.

Through evidence-informed instruction and an immersive virtual gaming scenario, participants will strengthen their understanding of the effects of IPV on infants and young children while building practical skills to recognize concerns and respond with confidence.

Participants will learn to:
• Understand the impact of intimate partner violence on infants and young children.
• Recognize signs and symptoms in young children and their caregivers.
• Practice recognition and intervention skills through an interactive virtual simulation.
