Those first few steps out of bed can feel very different when you are dealing with plantar fasciitis. 🛏️🦶

Heel or arch pain may also be more noticeable after sitting, standing for a long time, walking, exercising, or spending time on hard surfaces.

Try these exercises to help strengthen the foot and calf, support the arch, improve control through the lower leg, and reduce tightness along the bottom of the foot. 👟

Move slowly. Stay within a comfortable range. Stop if your symptoms become sharp or worsen.

Foot pain can have many causes. If it is affecting your walking, work, exercise, or daily activities 👉 a Lifemark physiotherapist can assess what may be contributing and recommend a personalized care plan.

Muscle fatigue, overuse, circulation, medications, and other health factors may also contribute. Learn what dehydration-related cramps can feel like, which signs to watch for, and how steady hydration can support muscle recovery.

Long periods at a desk can leave your neck and upper back feeling stiff, tired or less comfortable by the end of the day. 🧑‍💻

Taking brief, intentional breaks can help you change positions, activate supporting muscles and restore mobility between meetings or tasks. Try these exercises slowly and stay within a comfortable range.

A Lifemark physiotherapist can also assess how your posture, workstation and daily habits may be affecting your body. They can recommend exercises based on your needs and help you feel more comfortable throughout your workday. 👉 Find a clinic near you: https://tinyurl.com/2692mszr
