You watch the baby spit up for the third time during a single feed. Fresh milk, right back up. The baby screams for hours a day,
You think maybe it’s colic, or reflux.

The parents hired you because they’re at their wits end. They've tried paced feeding, upright positioning, smaller volumes, but this baby is still struggling.

What you’re seeing are addressable symptoms.
When the fascia around the abdomen is tight, milk does not move through the digestive system efficiently causing some distressing symptoms for this sweet babe.

Medication manages the acid. Positioning manages the flow. Neither one releases the tension in the digestive system.
That’s the piece craniosacral therapy addresses. And it is the referral that changes what this family's next few weeks look like.

Supply is rarely just a supply problem.

How well your baby transfers milk at every feed directly affects how much your body makes.

A shallow latch, a tight baby, a feed that ends early, all of these send the wrong signal to the milk ducts.

Before adjusting your pumping schedule or reaching for supplements, it’s worth looking at what is happening during the feed itself.

Jessica works with families across West Toronto and Peel & Halton Region.

In-clinic and home visits available.

Every baby develops at their own pace. Rolling back-to-tummy often requires more strength, coordination, and comfort with tummy time — and some babies simply take a little longer.

Instead of focusing on milestones as deadlines, look for progress:
✨ Reaching across midline
✨ Bringing feet to hands
✨ Rolling to the side
✨ Tolerating tummy time

These are all important stepping stones. If you’re unsure, a gentle assessment can help guide you and support your baby’s development.
