"Work-From-Home" tech neck, lower back ache, or hip/shoulder tightness?
Most of you know me as a registered massage and hypnotherapist, but a huge part of my clinical training and experience focuses on posture, body mechanics, and how our environments cause chronic pain.
So many of us are working on kitchen chairs, low couches, or dining tables that by the afternoon, the forward-neck pull or lower back ache kicks in, which drains our energy and makes it impossible to focus on work let alone the life it funds.
To help address the root cause, I offer a Comprehensive 1-Hour Ergonomic and Postural Consultation Virtually. Instead of a generic desk audit alone, I treat this like an online clinic visit focused entirely on your specific pain points, and look at how daily habits can reverse it.
How it works:
The Call (approx 45 Mins): A secure video call to look at your posture while you work and pinpoint the exact source of your strain.
The Plan (approx 15 Mins): I spend the rest of the hour mapping out a customized, 2-page digital recovery guide for you, packed with targeted biomechanical interventions and highest-yield workstation adjustments tailored to your circumstances.
The Logistics:
Have workplace benefits? This falls entirely under my scope as an RMT. I issue a standard Registered Massage Therapy receipt via email, so you can submit it to your insurer for reimbursement.
No benefits or income? We can set a sliding-scale rate that works for your budget with no justification needed.
If your body has been screaming by end of day, let’s get it sorted so you can work without pain.
Booking link in my bio, more times available by request, questions welcome.
Personal Backstory:
I lost use of both of my hands when I first started working full-time on a computer. Ergonomic considerations were not yet a thing. Physiotherapy relieved my localized symptoms, but the underlying conditions leading to the pain, weakness, and numbness never went away because the plan was focused near the area of symptoms instead of the whole body, which is like a team of players that all need to show up. It's taken me a lot of professional help to recover, so I can fast-track others.
