nd Caribbean people account for more than one-fifth of all new HIV infections in Toronto, in the early nineties we made up only one-tenth of new HIV infections. Issues of HIV related stigma and discrimination, homophobia, anti-Black racism, immigration, poverty, and barriers to social inclusion also continue to make our work harder.

Stronger partnerships. Shared learning. Collective impact. 🤝🏿

The Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention was pleased to host leaders from our BIPOC Alliance partner organizations for meaningful conversations, learning, and connection.

Together, our organizations are part of the Building BIPOC Community Readiness for Harm Reduction project, funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada | Agence de la santé publique du Canada.

During the visit, we:
✨ Discussed the important work we are advancing together
✨ Shared organizational successes and lessons learned
✨ Toured Black CAP’s new offices
✨ Connected with Black CAP staff during a meet and greet

It was a wonderful time filled with joy, thoughtful dialogue, and a shared commitment to strengthening collaboration and improving the health and well-being of racialized communities.

Thank you to our BIPOC Alliance partners for your continued leadership, partnership, and dedication to the communities we serve. We look forward to continuing this important work together.

We’re keeping the Father’s Day love going a little longer! 🎉 One day just isn't enough to celebrate the incredible impact of fatherhood! 💙

Even though Father’s Day was yesterday, Black CAP wants to keep the celebration going. We are sending love and appreciation to all the diverse dads and father figures who shape our community: biological dads, adoptive and foster dads, stepdads, mentors, and the angel dads watching over us from heaven. 🕊️✨

Thank you for your guidance, your strength, and your unconditional love every single day of the year. We hope all the dads in our community had a beautiful weekend!
