All jokes aside 😅.

The real achievement is when you start seeing the benefits of the work you put in.

The moment when something shifts. When you catch yourself responding differently. Or when you realize that you have the power to change your life.

And how lucky am I ? To hold space to watch is all happen.

Self care didn’t fix your burnout. And it’s not because you weren’t doing it right.

It’s because bubble baths aren’t a substitute for boundaries. Face masks don’t undo the emails you answered at 10pm. Early bedtimes don’t address the fact that you said yes when every part of you meant no.

Real self care isn’t what you do after you’ve given everything away. It’s learning to stop giving it all away in the first place.

Save this if it landed. Link in bio when you’re ready.

Say it with me...

You’re not difficult.
You’re not too sensitive.
And you’re definitely not a pushover.

You’re just someone who learned that keeping the peace was easier than speaking up. That saying yes kept things smooth. That putting yourself last was somehow the responsible thing to do.

But there’s a cost to always being the easy one. And if you’re reading this, you probably already feel it.

This isn’t about becoming someone who doesn’t care. It’s about learning that you’re allowed to be on your own list too.

Save this if it resonated. And when you’re ready, the link in bio is a good place to start.

Growing up, mental health wasn’t something we talked about.

You were strong. You figured it out. You sucked it up and kept moving.

I carried that into my athletic career.

And it made me curious about something.

Why are so many of us so capable on the outside and so quietly struggling on the inside?

That question is a big part of why I do this work.

Can you relate ?

What if self-awareness isn’t the problem?

You can be self-aware and still be stuck.

Especially if you’re high-functioning enough to push through it.

Because functioning isn’t the same as actually changing.

If this resonated, my link in bio is a good place to start.

Imagine being nervous to start therapy…
and realizing your therapist is just… a person

Someone you can talk to
without needing to have the right words
or a clear plan

If starting has felt intimidating,
you’re not alone in that

I didn’t become a therapist because I had it all figured out.

I became one because I didn’t. Learning how to take care of my own mental health is what started the journey to supporting others with theirs.

This is part 1 of 3. The rest of the story is coming this week.

Rest ≠ lying down.
Real rest is anything that actually restores you:

- a walk
-a conversation
-creative time
-silence

For high achievers, rest feels like failure. So you scroll, you think about your to-do list, you “rest after this one thing.”

And then wonder why you’re still exhausted.

You don’t need to do ‘nothing.’
You need to find what actually refills you.

You don’t always notice when perfectionism is running the show.

Because it doesn’t always look like overworking or “trying too hard.”

Sometimes it looks like:
• putting things off
• overthinking every step
• feeling like nothing you do is ever enough

And underneath all of that?

There’s pressure.

The kind that tells you:
“If I can’t do it perfectly… I shouldn’t do it at all.”

So you get stuck in this cycle:
Push yourself too hard → burn out
OR
Avoid it completely → feel worse

And from the outside?

It can look like a discipline problem.

But it’s not.

It’s a pressure problem.

And the more you keep trying to “fix” it with discipline, the more stuck you feel.

You don’t have to keep living this way.

You’re allowed to take the mask off.

If this hit a little too close to home, you’re not the only one navigating this.

I work with individuals struggling with perfectionism, burnout, and performance pressure.

When you’ve always been the one who holds it together…
asking for support can feel unfamiliar.

Not because you don’t need it,
but because you’ve never had to rely on it.

If this resonates, you don’t have to keep doing it alone.
