You donât always notice when perfectionism is running the show.
Because it doesnât always look like overworking or âtrying too hard.â
Sometimes it looks like:
⢠putting things off
⢠overthinking every step
⢠feeling like nothing you do is ever enough
And underneath all of that?
Thereâs pressure.
The kind that tells you:
âIf I canât do it perfectly⌠I shouldnât do it at all.â
So you get stuck in this cycle:
Push yourself too hard â burn out
OR
Avoid it completely â feel worse
And from the outside?
It can look like a discipline problem.
But itâs not.
Itâs a pressure problem.
And the more you keep trying to âfixâ it with discipline, the more stuck you feel.
You donât have to keep living this way.
Youâre allowed to take the mask off.
If this hit a little too close to home, youâre not the only one navigating this.
I work with individuals struggling with perfectionism, burnout, and performance pressure.
