The annual AAWC intake is now open.

CAISH is now accepting applications for the Advanced Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor Pathway (AAWC).

AAWC is CAISH’s advanced pathway for students who are ready to deepen beyond foundational Ayurvedic education into assessment, individualized support, and advanced Ayurvedic application.

This pathway is designed for students who have already completed AHE or have equivalent prior Ayurvedic study.

If you studied Ayurveda elsewhere, you may be eligible to enter through Prior Learning Review. This helps CAISH understand your background and determine whether AAWC is the right next step for you.

This is a small annual cohort with 15 places available.

The Fall 2026 AAWC cohort begins Thursday, October 1, 2026.

Applications should be submitted by September 15, 2026 so there is time for application review, Prior Learning Review where relevant, fee/payment planning, and enrollment steps.

If you are considering AAWC, we recommend starting the process now.

Book a 15-minute Pathway Call to clarify your entry point, ask your questions, and understand whether AAWC is your right next step.

If you already know AAWC is your path, Sara will guide you through the application details.

Choosing an Ayurveda school is not only about hours, fees, or certificates.

If you want Ayurveda to become part of your work or path of service, you need a learning environment that helps you apply the teachings with care.

At CAISH, students study Ayurveda as a living system: rooted in classical principles, supported by experienced faculty, and attentive to the realities of modern life.

CAISH does not follow only one rigid lineage or school of thought. Students are supported to learn from different streams of Ayurvedic and Yogic wisdom, while developing discernment around what is appropriate for the person in front of them.

That matters because real people are not textbook examples.

Join the CAISH Ayurveda Career Pathways Open House to meet the team, understand the Fall 2026 study pathways, and explore whether CAISH is the right next step for your Ayurvedic study.

The Fall 2026 Intake is open.

CAISH is now accepting applications for the Ayurvedic Health Educator Pathway.

AHE is CAISH’s 700-hour professional foundation pathway for students who want Ayurveda to become part of their career, practice, community role, or long-term path of service.

Inside AHE, students learn to study Ayurveda as a complete system — not only as remedies, routines, or isolated ideas.

You’ll learn to see the whole person: body, mind, digestion, food, lifestyle, senses, season, environment, daily rhythm, and nature.

The focus is always on the person, not the disease.

AHE may be right for you if you are a yoga teacher, coach, wellness practitioner, healthcare professional, educator, community guide, or serious student preparing for a future path in Ayurveda.

It may also be right for you if people are already asking you for guidance, and you want to support them with more depth, discernment, and clear boundaries.

The Fall 2026 AHE cohort begins Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

Applications should be submitted by September 1, 2026 so there is time for application review, Prior Learning Review where relevant, fee/payment planning, and enrollment steps.

If you are considering AHE, we recommend starting the process now.

Book a 15-minute Pathway Call to clarify your entry point, ask your questions, and understand whether AHE is your right next step.

If you already know AHE is your path, you are welcome to apply now.

Summer heat does not affect everyone in exactly the same way.

For one person, it may show up as irritability or sharp words.
For another, unsettled digestion.
For another, poor sleep, skin sensitivity, restlessness, or burnout.

Ayurveda helps us notice the pattern, not just the temperature outside.

In her new CAISH article, Dr Leena Sripada shares how excess summer heat may show up through the body and mind, and offers simple seasonal shifts around food, sleep, movement, hydration, and sensory care.

Her new guide, Cool the Fire: Your Ayurvedic Summer Survival Guide, also offers self-assessment, quizzes, recipes, and practical tools for applying Ayurvedic summer care in daily life.

Read the article here or Explore the guide here.

And if you’d like to understand how these patterns may apply in your own life, join Dr Leena’s upcoming free webinar:

As summer heat builds, many people notice changes beyond simply feeling hot.

You may feel more irritable, more reactive, more restless, or more “on edge” than usual.

Sleep, digestion, skin sensitivity, and emotional steadiness may also feel different.

From an Ayurvedic perspective, this can be a sign that Pitta — the hot, sharp, intense principle — is becoming aggravated.

In this upcoming free CAISH webinar, Dr. Leena Sripada will explore how summer Pitta imbalance may show up in your body, mind, digestion, sleep, and daily rhythm.

She will also share how to begin choosing cooling practices that fit real life.

Ayurveda tips can be helpful — but they are not the whole picture.

In this short video, Dr Leena Sripada shares why many people reach a point where they no longer want scattered pieces. They want to understand how Ayurveda fits together as a system.

Dr Leena is part of the CAISH faculty, where Ayurveda and Indian systems of healing are taught with roots, structure, care, and practical application.

If Ayurveda has started to feel like more than tips or inspiration, CAISH’s new Education Pathways Guide can help you understand where structured Ayurvedic study may begin.

Are you Ayurveda curious… or Ayurveda called?

There is a difference.

Curiosity may lead you to books, recipes, dosha quizzes, podcasts, herbs, and wellness practices.

But calling often feels different.

It shows up as a desire to understand the whole person.
To move beyond scattered tips.
To care for yourself and your family with more confidence.
To bring more depth to the people you already support.
To explore whether Ayurveda could become part of your future work in natural health.

To study Ayurveda in a way that is grounded, structured, and alive.

If you have been wondering whether it is time to go deeper, we invite you to join us for a free CAISH session:

From Ayurveda Curious to Ayurveda Called:
5 Signs You’re Ready to Go Deeper

Wednesday, July 22
12 P.M. EST
Online via Zoom

This is not a formal program presentation.
It is a reflective session to help you recognize where you are on the path and what Ayurveda may be asking of you next.

A replay will be sent to registered participants.

Join live if you can for reflection, chat, and questions.

For those who choose it, Ayurveda can become deeply meaningful work.

It can become part of how you support people, how you understand health and disease, how you relate to nature, and how you serve your family, your community, your clients, or your patients.

But Ayurveda is not something to flatten into tips, trends, or shortcuts.

As Ismatji often reminds students, Ayurveda is not rocket science. It can be learned by someone who is dedicated, passionate, and sincere.

But it is also not simplistic.
It has many dimensions.

If you are aspiring to make Ayurveda part of your work in the world, this matters.

You may already be in health, wellness, yoga, bodywork, coaching, herbalism, nutrition, medicine, natural healthcare, clinical care, or community care.

You may be in a completely different career, but feel that Ayurveda keeps calling you toward a more meaningful path.

You may be wondering whether Ayurveda could become part-time work, a full career transition, or a deeper foundation for the work you already do.

This does not need to be an impulsive leap.
But if you want to serve others through Ayurveda, structured study matters.

Reading books, short courses, and online tips can support your own exploration. But serving others requires depth, structure, humility, and responsibility.

Ismatji says it clearly:
“Even if we are not able to help every single person, we must not make it worse.”

That is the responsibility of this work.

Join us for a free CAISH session:

From Ayurveda Curious to Ayurveda Called: 5 Signs You’re Ready to Go Deeper
Wednesday, July 22
12 P.M. EST
Online via Zoom

This reflective session is for people wondering whether Ayurveda may be asking for a deeper place in their life, study, service, or future profession.

You will leave with a clearer sense of where you are on the Ayurveda path, which signs of readiness are showing up for you, and what questions to bring to the CAISH Open House on August 12.

A replay will be sent to registered participants. Join live if you can for reflection, chat, and questions.
