We’re thrilled to share that all 69 of our graduates have officially decided where they’ll be heading next. While we look forward to celebrating and sharing their final destinations with our community at the 125th Closing Ceremonies and Graduation in less than a week’s time, we congratulate them today on the many offers they have received!

The Social Studies focus in the Grade 1 class recently has found the students diving deeper into communities through some mapping activities! They have been investigating features of a map and how to use maps as helpful tools. Then, to continue their community learning, Grade 1 visited our local fire station last week where they had the opportunity to sit in the fire truck, observe firefighting artifacts such as clothing and tools, and explore the significance of these essential community helpers. 🚒

Grades 5 and 6 students enrolled in our co-curricular Teaching Kitchen club put their culinary skills to the test in the first annual SCS MasterChef Junior Competition yesterday! Each student team planned the menu for an entree and dessert, and prepared meals from scratch with guidance from our Chartwells chef team. Teams were judged on safety practices, presentation, and of course taste. The real winners? The judges who got to sample all of the delicious creations! 😋

Meet our Prefects for the 2026-2027 school year at SCS!

Some of the responsibilities of a Prefect include being a positive leader, promoting school unity and spirit, leading Prefect portfolios and serving as class Prefects for a Junior or Middle School class, attending weekly meetings, and leading the planning and implementation of all Prefect activities.
