40th ANNIVERSARY

October 1986. This is the month Dr. Vince Ricciardi and I opened the Davisville-Yonge Chiropractic/Physiotherapy Clinic in the Medical Dental Building at 1849 Yonge Street. We had just graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in May of that year. In 1988, we were joined by Dr. Margaret Russell after her graduation from CMCC. Dr. Russell and I had also graduated from the University of Toronto in 1980 with our degree in Physiotherapy. We stayed at 1849 Yonge street until 2008 when we moved a few hundred meters to the east at 124 Merton Street Suite 503, where we have been since then. Dr. Ricciardi left us at that time to pursue teaching full time at CMCC.
We are therefore celebrating our 40th year anniversary. In 2008, since we had moved in a larger office we added the service of Massage therapy. We did reach 20,000 new patients in February of this year. A practice built on words of mouth and referral from medical doctors who respected our evidence based practice.
We all love our work and hope to continue for many years to come!!!!

Dr. Marcel J. Reux P.T., D.C.

Foot discomfort can sometimes be connected to how the feet support movement through the day. Custom orthotics are made for the individual after assessment and may be considered when additional foot support is appropriate.

If foot mechanics are affecting your comfort, ask whether custom orthotics may be worth discussing:

Long hours at a desk can add up when your chair, screen, and work habits keep your body in the same position for too long. Small adjustments to your setup and regular movement breaks may help reduce unnecessary strain during the workday.

If desk-related discomfort keeps returning, consider having the problem assessed: https://www.dyclinics.com/
