Sometimes guilt is not a sign that you’re doing something wrong.
Sometimes it’s a sign that you’re doing something different. 🤍

In this episode, Rebecca shares how boundaries are less about controlling other people and more about protecting your peace, energy, and emotional well-being.

Paying attention to how your body responds around certain people or situations can tell you a lot. Feelings of guilt, shame, exhaustion, or emotional heaviness may be signs that something needs your attention.

Setting boundaries can feel uncomfortable, especially if you’re used to putting others first. But healthy boundaries are not selfish, they are a form of self-respect and care.

You are allowed to protect your energy.
You are allowed to choose what feels safe for you.
And you are allowed to create space for your own healing. 🌿

We’re sharing a new episode from the Green Path Psychotherapy podcast!! 🍃

In this conversation, our therapists explore why boundaries can feel so emotionally difficult... even when we know they’re healthy for us.

We often assume that if something is good for us, it should feel easy. But in reality, setting boundaries can bring up guilt, anxiety, self-doubt, and fear of conflict.

This is an honest, grounded conversation that reflects what we see every day in therapy, that healing is not just about insight, but about learning to tolerate the discomfort that comes with change.

If you’ve ever struggled with saying no, prioritizing yourself, or holding boundaries without guilt, this episode is for you.

As the seasons shift and the long winter begins to soften, we’re reminded that change doesn’t happen all at once, it happens gradually, gently, and in its own time.

Just like nature, healing is not linear.

It comes in waves, pauses, and small moments of growth that are often easy to overlook 🌱

Are you HEALING… or just getting better at HIDING it?

Sometimes what looks like healing on the outside is actually just becoming really good at coping, pushing through, and keeping things together.

Many people don’t realize they’re still carrying anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, or past experiences that haven’t fully been processed.

Real healing is not about appearing fine. It is about feeling safe, regulated, and connected on the inside.

At Green Path Psychotherapy, we support individuals who are navigating trauma, stress, and emotional exhaustion, and who are ready for a deeper kind of healing that goes beyond just getting by.

If this resonates with you, you are not alone, and support is available when you are ready 🍃

We’re excited to share that our founder, Alex Canzonieri, was recently featured as a guest on the Snackable Mental Health podcast for an honest and insightful conversation on trauma, healing, mindfulness, and mental health.

In this episode, Alex and Brandon explore the hidden ways trauma can show up in everyday life — from overthinking and emotional overwhelm to physical symptoms many people don’t immediately connect to stress or unresolved experiences.

The conversation also dives into:
✨ EMDR, CBT, and trauma-focused therapy
✨ Radical acceptance and dialectical thinking
✨ Post-traumatic growth and healing beyond survival
✨ Eastern and Western approaches to mental health
✨ How mindfulness can become a way of living — not just a coping tool

This episode offers a compassionate and accessible perspective on healing, whether you’re navigating trauma personally or simply wanting to better understand the human mind.

Thank you to Snackable Mental Health for having Alex on the podcast. 🎙️
