Understanding and Supportive Without Judgement:

They brand you as an "addict"
You're just a waste of skin
They never stop to find out
how hard your life has been.

They shake their heads
And curse your sight
So blind are they
To see your plight.

You vilify their neighborhood
Leave garbage on the street
Your presence is not welcomed
Your an object to delete.

They cut you to your knees
They laugh and watch you fall
Not one of them can understand
You're fighting a disease.

Because you are not worthy
Because there is no hope
Because the pain has no escape
You reach out for the dope.

Who would ever choose this
A hopeless life of pain
Alone and always longing
For the family that you miss.

Please save me from this living hell
Come take me by the hand
Show me I am worthy
And stay until I'm well.

This epidemic is spreading. We need to unite and present a solid stand on prevention, especially in our schools. Include it in assemblies. Show the grim reality of what fentanyl does. Healthy fear is a powerful motivator.

America is tremendously proactive. Here, we tend to be more complacent. Fentanyl is showing up in vapes and candy. Do some research.

There are far more lethal drugs being made in China's labs. They are wiping out a generation. Most of these kids are NOT addicts. Our governments need to do better! My son would still be alive today had we known the facts. 😥😫💔

You loved them through it, and that takes tremendous strength.
