Born in Jerusalem, Galya is an Israeli food maven.

Galya and Shani are the Co-Founders of Galya Loves Food, the Toronto-based start-up specializing in Israeli culinary treats made locally. At a young age, she began cooking with her mother as she developed an insatiable interest in culinary matters. Today, after having refined her gastronomic skills in Paris, Galya – with her daughter, Shani – shares her passion for and expertise with Israeli food

Born in Paris, Shani grew up in Israel where she received her BA in Interior Design. Since moving to Toronto in 2016, she has developed a successful independent practice as an interior designer for private clients. At the same time, she also plays a central role in the growth of Galya Loves Food through her involvement in developing new dishes, the aesthetic presentation of products and the digital marketing.
