Cliff French is holding "Journey" Sound of Remembrance guitar. He was there the day, March 3 2009 when Cpl Kenneth O'Quinn was killed by an IED. I was going to try and take Portraits Of Honour back to Centreville-Wareham-Trinity for family members of Cpl Kenneth O'Quinn. I just didnt have it in me to make it, i was awake at 5am but couldnt do it.

Sgt Frank Slade was me best buddy in the whole wide world! His best buddy in the whole wide world was Donald Penney, who is buried in a United Nations cemetary in Korea. Frank, Shaun Taylor went to Korea and visited your best buddy and sent me a picture. And You Know We Loves Ya, Right.

Gary and Ada look after all wayward souls. Gary walked across the Northern Peninsula with 35 lbs of vienna sausages, kippered snacks, and sardines. Gary is ready to go for another walk next year. Whos in? Love you all and notice the small box lunch they sent ua with.

Back in 2011, i had heard of a Korean War veteran that wouldnt parade at the new cenotaph because the old one was built by Vets for Vets. Alfred Frank Slade fought in Korea and lost his best buddy in the whole wide world, Donald Penney. 3 RCR, thanks to CWO Olstad, sent 3 paratroopers to attend Rememberance Day with Frank. He ended up coming to the ceremonies at the new cenotaph and when that was over, we all moved over to the old one and did an entire Rememberance Day service again (thankfully we did the first one so i remembered the steps for the second one, lol)at the old cenotaph. Later, Clara was delighted that they had their first kitchen party. Afterwards, Frank told me with tears in his eyes that he waited his entire life for that to happen. Thank you Jamie Bussey for spending a week walking across the Northern Peninsula to tell me about this and we made it happen. Spark would lay in the bed with both of them, when they were in the Hospital. Love you all!
