Naturopathic Students' Association (NSA) The Naturopathic Students’ Association (NSA) represents the students of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM).

The Naturopathic Students' Association (NSA) Executive Council is the elected student government representing students at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), founded in 2009

The NSA is directly responsible for initiating and directing activities that promote spirit and student involvement at CCNM. We represent students in matters regarding extracurricular services provided by CCNM and their affiliates and will communicate and build relationships with other schools and student bodies. The NSA also exists to represent the interests and concerns of CCNM students regarding their academic and clinical education. The NSA represents the students of CCNM in the provincial and federal associations, and, through these associations, represents students in legislation affecting the profession.

Hello everyone! I’m Anna and I’m honoured to serve as your NSA president for the 2026-2027 academic year! I’m a fourth-year clinical intern with a strong passion for optimizing athletic performance, women’s health, and cancer care. When I’m not in clinic, I love working out, knitting, and trying new recipes. I’m also training for my first Hyrax competition in October!
 
I care deeply about creating an environment where students feel comfortable sharing feedback and confident that their voices are being represented with professionalism and integrity. My goal is to help foster a connected, supportive NSA that reflects the needs and values of our community!

Hi everyone! My name is Renée and I am so excited to be your VP Internal for the 2026-27 academic year! I am currently a fourth year student and am passionate about women’s health, pediatrics, digestion and helping patients overcome stress/burnout…because let’s be honest, it affects everything!

I was born in Windsor, Ontario and completed by undergraduate degree at the University of Windsor. Some of my favourite things are longgg books and longgg walks outdoors!

I have had such an incredible last few years at CCNM, and I am looking forward to helping to make this year even better! The community at CCNM is truly a special one, and I am so lucky to work with such an amazing NSA team this year.

Hello! My name is Katelyn Recagno, and I’m a third-year student at CCNM and your NSA Student Advocate.

Beyond my role as Student Advocate, I’m also involved in several areas of the CCNM community. I’m the President of the Fertility Club, a Corporate Extern with both NFH and Vitazan, and the Social Representative for the Class of 2028.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition at the University of Guelph, and my additional interests include research, fertility, and oncology.

If you ever have a concern, question, or need support navigating something at CCNM, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to listen, help where I can, and connect you with the appropriate resources.

Hi, I’m Megan and I’m so happy to be your VP Campus Life for 2026-2027! I’m a fourth-year student at CCNM and have absolutely loved being VP Campus Life for the past 2 years! I’ve had so much fun planning CCNM at Sea, CCNM Formal, Wellness Week, orientation events, and more! I can’t wait to share what we have planned for this year!

A little bit about me is that I did my undergrad at the University of Western Ontario, love pilates, reading, and my chai lattes!

Hiii! I’m Tiandra Mighty, a 3rd-year CCNM student and your VP Social & Environmental Justice for 2026–2027.

I’m passionate about exploring health through a systems-thinking lens — understanding how biological, social, cultural, environmental, and structural factors intersect to shape our health and experiences of healthcare. I believe in the importance of collective care and creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed, included, and supported. As VP SEJ, I’ll be working to support equity, diversity, inclusion, and environmental justice across our campus through advocacy, education, initiatives, events, and opportunities for students to connect and get involved. If you have any ideas, concerns, or initiatives you’d like to bring forward, please reach out!

I’m also the Founder & President of the Black, Indigenous & Racialized Naturopathic Students’ Network BIPOC Naturopathic Medical Students Network, a student-led community focused on connecting and supporting BIPOC students and allies, while fostering conversations around the health, experiences, and needs of the diverse communities we’ll serve as future doctors.

Outside of school, I love cooking, reading, fueling my shopping addiction, and finding any excuse to bring people together. I’m looking forward to making this a meaningful year for our community! 🤎
