I thought this post was SO well done, informative and thoughtful I had to ask Taylor .by.dayremedies if I could repost it on my feed. ♥️

THIS IS THE GUIDE besties. She did an amazing job and I wanted to give it more of a platform. Give it a read and then check out her account ✨

We still have a lot of work to do in women’s health, but this is definitely a step forward. PCOS was too narrow and limiting for a name, PMOS is so much more appropriate as it’s a whole body endocrine and metabolic condition. And of course, Chinese Medicine has been saying this forever. We always look at any condition as a full body pattern, often connected to other ones. To just think of ovaries or just one body part of any type, for that matter, is so foreign to us. How did it get there? What’s the emotional connection? What’s the diet connection? What’s the imbalance and how can we systemically fix it. That’s the Chinese Medicine way.

I’m really happy about this more encompassing thought process about PCOS to PMOS and hopeful to see how this may get women the care we deserve ♥️

I am SO excited for this next step of my hair regrowth - getting my own stem cells injected into my scalp to wake up my dormant hair follicles!!!

Back in December I got my stem cells extracted with which have been frozen at Toronto General Hospital to make my own personalized secretome. Now we’re taking that formula with hyalauronic acid and injected it into my scalp with microneedling to stimulate hair growth!

I went to in Yorkville and everyone was so nice and professional and my practitioner took all the time to answer my 1000 questions. She was so sweet.

I took before pictures so I can’t wait to see what will happen after a few more sessions!

In Chinese Medicine, your period shouldn’t ruin your week. Cramps, mood swings, breast tenderness, irritability, they’re common, but in TCM they’re a sign that something isn’t flowing the way it should, and isn’t actually considered normal.

These three points are the ones I press on myself and use most often with patients:

📍 SP6 — the most famous gynecological point in TCM. crosses spleen, liver, and kidney meridians. Great for PMS, irregular cycles, and pre-period sleep issues.
📍 LV3 — moves stuck Liver Qi, which is behind almost every “rage-y” PMS symptom. Great for irritability, breast tenderness, and tension.
📍 REN 4 — the root point for the uterus. It tonifies kidney qi, builds blood, and warms a cold womb. SO good for irregular or light periods, achy cramps that feel better with heat, and low energy around your cycle.

Avoid SP6 if you’re pregnant besties. Let’s be safe.
