I firmly believe that raising our kids is the most important job many of us do. It is harder and harder to do this job well with so many things working against us and so little support. An important adaptation that supports Mental Health, is summoning your courage and asking for help. From family, a neighbour, a friend, a colleague or a professional. When you ask for help, it actually gives someone the opportunity feel good about themselves, and feel more connected to you. So if you won’t do it for you, do it for them.⁠
