New Year, new back! The year of 2021 was the year of back pain - people either too sedentary at home, sitting on the worse WFH ergonomics, or even going back to the gym intensively without a good core/foundation. This ALL contributes to back pain. Proper assessments means proper tools to counter back pain.

How much pressure do you like when it comes to deep/soft tissue therapy? Patients ask me if one particular one is better than the other but it all comes down to preference.
I love using a ton of pressure to strip out the tight muscle and knots before we even consider doing any adjustments. Yes it’s painful but it can be a really good type of pain when it’s done right ☑️. And yes for my regulars that know me well...can you spot my haha 😂 ☕️

Ergonomics assessments to self-care: it can all be done virtually! I stress the importance of getting the proper set up at home and not screw up your neck back and shoulders! This little guy had a classic case of congenital torticollis. Mum noticed his head forward tilt to one side and an extremely tough time to sleep consistently plus other reflux symptoms. He was brought in for gentle manual traction on the shortened side of his neck muscles and basic retraining at home. Within a few sessions he was able to function better and sleep better!
