Today is National Caregiver Day.

I get to see up close the dedication of the PSWs we work with, and the strength of the family caregivers we serve.

Both carry a lot and deserve recognition.

There are also many caregivers out there we may never meet who are doing this work every day, often quietly.

Caregiving takes patience, responsibility, consistency, and heart, whether it’s being done professionally or for someone you love.

A lot of respect to all caregivers today.

To those caring for loved ones, and those caring for others, we see you.

About remembering that even when things feel heavy, constricted, or uncertain… freedom is still possible.

For many families caring for aging parents, Yom Tov can be beautiful, but also emotional, complicated, and exhausting.

If support helps a loved one stay at the table, stay comfortable, and stay part of the moment, that matters.

At Heartfelt Health, our Personal Support Workers are truly the heart of everything we do.

This month we are proud to recognize Edrian as our Employee of the Month. Edrian is a hardworking, dedicated PSW who consistently shows compassion, professionalism, and genuine care for the clients he serves.

The work our caregivers do each day brings comfort, dignity, and support to the lives of our beloved clients and their families. It is not easy work, but it is incredibly meaningful.

We asked a few guests how they were feeling, and the responses were both funny and deeply heartfelt.

There was laughter and music, but also something more. One person spoke about holding both happiness and sadness at the same time, about what’s happening in Israel, the challenges facing the Jewish people, and the strength our nation has always shown in rising above.

That’s what this felt like. Joy with depth. Celebration with meaning. Community showing up for each other.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do at and through CASL — bringing people together in ways that truly resonate.

This past Sunday, Heartfelt Health (a GTA-based Home Care agency) and CASL (The Chamber for the Advancement of Senior Living) organized a joyful Pre-Purim celebration for Jewish seniors, families, and friends across the GTA.

Hosted at Kensington Place, the event featured live music, dancing, costumes, and a room full of joy and connection.

Musicians from the community generously gave their time to uplift and entertain, high school students helped bring warmth and energy to the room.

A meaningful and spirited kickoff to Purim!
