Join us for Sickle Cell Awareness Day at TAIBU Community Health Centre on June 20, 2026, from 12–4 PM.

Learn more about sickle cell disease, connect with community partners, and take advantage of on-site blood testing to find out your blood type and/or sickle cell status. This family-friendly event will also feature refreshments, activities, giveaways, and opportunities to learn how you can support blood donation efforts in our community.

This Sunday, April 19th, we’re hosting a workshop focused on Black men’s mental health and wellness.

Join us for an open discussion on depression, anxiety, and mental health — including common signs and symptoms, and the myths and stigmas that often get in the way.

All men are welcome. The space is open to all whether you’re a youth or have officially reached unc status. Whether you’re looking for support or have experiences and insights to share, this is your space to share.

Over the past three days, we’ve shared powerful conversations, meaningful learning, and moments of connection that remind us why this work matters. From plenaries to breakout sessions, this space has been rooted in community, reflection, and collective care.

As ACT Now! comes to a close, we leave inspired by the knowledge shared and the relationships strengthened — and energized to continue this work in our communities.
