Balanced Mind and Wellness Inc. Thoughtful, integrated wellness to support your mind and body. It focuses on specific goals you want to accomplish.

We are an Etobicoke wellness centre, with psychotherapy, naturopathy, massage therapy, osteopathy, and acupuncture services. Find the right solutions to your health needs with psychotherapy and psychological counselling services from Carly Clifton and Balanced Mind and Wellness Inc.! We offer insurance covered psychotherapy and psychological counselling services in Etobicoke and serve the areas of Toronto, Mississauga, and other sections of the GTA. Psychotherapy is the practice of spending time with a psychological professional to help diagnose and assess mental and emotional problems. There are various forms of therapy, such as: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Counselling can help you to understand and manage a wide range of emotional difficulties. It can help to develop more concrete steps to solving issues in your life. We can work to manage stress, anxiety, and depression. Counselling can also help individuals to deal with relationship conflicts. Most importantly, we work together to learn skills and coping mechanisms to work through issues or problems you have addressed. Our therapy services include: individual counselling, couples counselling, relationship therapy, and family counselling. Our approach to psychotherapy and psychological counselling is integrative, collaborative, and active in focusing on the issues identified by you and what works best for you. We are enthusiastic, and respect and appreciate our clients. We will build a relationship with you on a strong foundation of confidentiality, trust, and commitment. We are conveniently located at Islington and Bloor: TTC subway exits directly into the building, and parking is available directly on and across the street.

Big feelings can be hard to understand, especially when you do not yet have the words to explain them.

We are excited to introduce our Child Therapy Workshops, designed for children from JK to Grade 5 to learn how to recognize, understand, and communicate their emotions in a fun, age-appropriate and supportive environment.

Through interactive activities, conversation, and therapeutic strategies, children will build skills to:
✨ Identify and name their emotions
✨ Understand what their feelings are telling them
✨ Express their emotions in healthy ways
✨ Learn strategies to cope with big feelings
✨ Create ideas on how loved ones can help support them

And because supporting children starts with supporting the adults around them, each workshop also includes a parent information session.

Helping children build emotional skills early can give them tools they can carry with them for years to come.

Interested in learning more or registering your child? Reach out to us with any questions or for more information. Scan the QR code, give us a call (416-232-2780), or send us an email ([email protected]).

We hope to see you there!

Parenthood was never meant to be done alone.

The postpartum period can be beautiful, overwhelming, isolating, exhausting, and everything in between. Sometimes you just need a space where you can talk openly with people who get it, without judgment or pressure to have it all together.

That is why we are creating a postpartum support group for parents to connect, share, laugh, vent, learn, and feel a little less alone. Starting on November 7, we will get together in person for 6 weeks on Saturday mornings at our office space.

Whether you are a brand-new parent, navigating life with your second (or third!), or simply looking for your village, you are welcome here.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning more or joining this group, you can contact us via email ([email protected]) or via phone (416-232-2780).

We hope to see you there ❤️
