You’re 35+ Weeks Pregnant
You’re 35+ weeks pregnant and suddenly everything feels… different.
Sleeping is now a full engineering project.
Turning from left to right requires planning, momentum, and sometimes a small prayer. You don’t “roll over” — you reposition in stages.
You get short of breath just lying down.
Not because you’re unfit — but because your uterus is pushing up against your diaphragm, reducing lung expansion. Sitting upright feels like oxygen has been restored.
Standing up? That’s a sound effect.
Every movement comes with a sigh, a groan, or a “Jesus help me.”
Your bladder has officially resigned.
You p*e.
You stand up.
You p*e again.
Baby movements are no longer cute little flutters.
They feel like full karate practice. You can literally see a foot drag across your stomach.
Everyone keeps saying:
“Anytime from now!”
And suddenly every cramp feels suspicious.
You’re excited.
You’re uncomfortable.
You’re emotional.
You’re counting days.
You’re nesting at 10 p.m.
You’re tired but can’t sleep properly.
And yet…
You rub your belly and think,
Just a few more weeks. We’re almost there.
