Acupuncture isn’t just about treating muscles - it’s a powerful tool for regulating your nervous system. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Did you know that certain systemic acupuncture points on the face can have incredible benefits for your mind and body?

It can promote balance between the sympathetic (fight-or-flight) and parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) branches of the autonomic nervous system. By stimulating specific acupuncture points, it can help modulate the body’s stress response, reduce pain perception, and promote relaxation, which supports overall nervous system regulation.

This regulatory effect can be beneficial for managing stress, anxiety, chronic pain, and other conditions related to nervous system imbalance. 💆🏻‍♀️🌱

Celebrating 10 years as a Massage Therapist feels like a milestone that carries the weight of every challenge and triumph. Starting over in a new city was daunting, yet it brought the opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up. From offering corporate and onsite massages to navigating the complexities of the COVID-19 pandemic, each step has shaped me into the practitioner I am today.

My journey has been marked by continual learning and growth. Training in myofascial release, cupping therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, kinesiology taping, and medical acupuncture has expanded the range of services I offer, helping me better meet the needs of my clients. Through it all, I’ve gained friends and, lost some too. But the support from those who have stood by me, through every struggle and success, has been invaluable.

As I navigate through the next year, I’m excited for the new possibilities on the horizon. Integrating new services into my practice to provide even more comprehensive care, reaching new goals and continuing to grow both personally and professionally.

To everyone who has supported me on this journey — thank you.

Here’s to the next chapter and the exciting things yet to come! 💕✨
