Gender-affirming chest surgery can be life-changing, but healing doesn’t always end when incisions close 🧡🏳️🌈
Scar tissue and muscle tension in the chest, shoulders, and ribcage can impact movement, posture, comfort, and even breathing. Years of chest binding before surgery may also contribute to tightness and reduced mobility.
At Oma, we work with the muscles, fascia, joints, and scar tissue to help restore mobility, ease discomfort, and support comfortable movement and breathing. Treatment can begin safely as early as 4 weeks after surgery (with clearance), and even years later, therapy can still make a meaningful difference.
