It's impossible to face your own mortality and come out anything but different.

It's been impossible for me (even 28 years later) to do anything but look at this life as a gift I often feel so utterly unworthy of.

So romanticizing the small and big moments has become a habit I'm grateful for.

1) fasting glucose
2) fasting insulin
3) Hemoglobin A1C
4) HOMA IR

All of these can give their own clues and help assess how if you have insulin resistance and how hard you need to work on improving your sugar regulation.

The important part is - you can REVERSE insulin resistance with natural strategies (lifestyle, diet, timing, movement, sleep, etc ).
