One of the things that often comes up in therapy is conflict.
Not because conflict is the problem, but because it has a way of shining a light on patterns we may not have noticed before.
The conversations we avoid.
The roles we automatically step into.
The stories we tell ourselves about our worth, our needs, and our relationships.
Therapy isn’t about eliminating conflict. It’s about becoming curious about what it might be trying to show us.
Sometimes the goal isn’t to win the argument.
Sometimes the goal is to understand the pattern.
And when we understand the pattern, we gain the ability to choose something different.
