Colleagues:
I am relocating out of the GTA and looking to fill my vacancy at several clinics.
The PhysioFlex clinic https://physioflex.ca/ is still available.
This is a multidisciplinary clinic hosting a chiropractor, physiotherapists, and massage therapists.
Patients are of all ages and ethnicities. Mostly family health, some WSIB, some MVA - without the meatmill of MVA clinics.
My role has been assessment, appropriate education and treatment. I usually do the shockwave. There are usually several pairs of orthotics each week, more so as we get to the year's end, and people are using up their benefits.
I am paid hourly.
The clinic provides marketing and administration, shockwave, ultrasound, electrotherapy, laser, and a minimal in-house exercise room. The clinic provides a PA who does most of the therapy, mostly independently, yet always open to my direction to get them started.
The owners are Manan and Jasmine. South Asian. Very friendly and supportive to work with. Jasmine runs the place.
I am currently working Tuesday and Thursday afternoons typically to 6 PM, later from time to time and expect later with the use up insurance surge in the latter part of the year. They would like to work Sat AMs as well.
They hope to get someone to step into my shoes, so to speak, yet are open to having someone on Thursdays and/or to serve the orthotic patients. It is all negotiable.
For me, I sign in, sign out.. no burdens of ownership.
Good for a semi-retired practitioner, to fill in some blank hours in your schedule, or a new grad to start generating some income and build a practice with no capital outlay. Everything is negotiable.
