At last week’s art workshop at Paths of Courage, we painted rocks with words, symbols, colours, and reminders of hope... not only for the participants there, but for those who will walk these paths after.

Each rock became a small invitation:

You are welcome here
You are not alone
You matter
Keep going
Rest
You belong

Healing can at times feel both deeply personal and isolating, but from my experiences navigating mental health supports over the years there is something profoundly restorative about coming together with others who understand... creating alongside one another, and contributing something meaningful to a shared space!

Collective healing reminds us that while our stories may be different, we can still hold space for one another, and leave something behind that says, "I was here, and I care about those also on this path".

These rocks, small messages of hope, will remain throughout Paths of Courage's beautiful garden as reminders that care can travel beyond us. That someone we may never meet can still receive something we chose to give.

Healing happens within us, but it can also happen between us 🌿

I deferred my acceptance to KATI...
...because I'm getting married! 💗💍

This was an immensely hard decision for me to make, but ultimately was the important decision... for many reasons! I can't wait to re-explore my academic journey next fall ♡

Jumping on the trend, just for funsies! Here's what I think is... kinda chic 😋🥰

Ever wanted to learn more about Walk & Talk Ecotherapy? 🌿

Sometimes healing looks like sitting across from someone in a therapy office. And sometimes it looks like walking beneath the trees, listening to birdsong, feeling the warmth of the sun, or noticing the rhythm of your own footsteps.

Walk & Talk Ecotherapy is an invitation to experience therapy in a different way... one that honours both the healing power of conversation and the restorative qualities of nature. For many people, being outdoors makes it easier to slow down, connect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and process life's challenges with a little more ease.

I completed my Walk & Talk Ecotherapy training through Cherry Tree Counselling & Psychotherapy 🇨🇦 and I'm grateful to offer these sessions in beautiful green spaces throughout the Bay of Quinte region.

If you've ever wondered whether therapy could look a little different, perhaps this is your invitation to step outside 🌱

Time to reflect on a meaningful professional milestone! 🌿✨️

I'm so excited to share that I've officially completed Level 1 Training (90 hours) through the IFS Institute!

To celebrate, I created this mandala inspired by the 8 Cs of Internal Family Systems (IFS): Calm, Curiosity, Clarity, Compassion, Confidence, Courage, Creativity, and Connectedness. These qualities convey the innate capacity for healing, connection, and self-leadership that I emphasize in my private practice.

IFS has shaped the way I understand trauma, resilience, and the many parts of ourselves that work so hard to protect us! I'm grateful to continue integrating this approach into my work with clients in a way that is gentle, collaborative, and deeply respectful of each person's unique inner world.

I'm also excited to share that my IFS Institute practitioner profile is now live, making it easier for those seeking IFS-informed therapy to find me.

Bonus - I’m already looking forward to continuing this journey with IFS Level 2 next year 🎉

A heartfelt thank you to my instructors, PAs, cohort, and clients who continue to remind me why this work matters so deeply. Here's to remaining curious, compassionate, and connected, both with ourselves and with one another.

Just as a garden needs space to grow, so do we!

This little corner was designed to be a place of safety, curiosity, and gentle unfolding.

I'm grateful for the stories that have been trusted here 🌱🌿
