One of the most powerful things you can do for your wellbeing takes just 10 minutes.

Sit quietly. Close your eyes. Watch your thoughts.

Try not to judge or analyze your thoughts. Just observe.

When you step back and watch the mind, you begin to see the patterns running your life.

When you can see the patterns running your life, you can consciously choose to make some changes.

Awareness creates choice. Choice creates change.

Have you searched for peace, sitting on the dock at the cottage or on vacation gazing at the water, yet stuck in your thoughts about the call you chose not to answer?

That one unanswered call. Killing your peace.

We all search for peace in our busy, hectic lives. But where do we actually find it?

Is it in the hot bath? Is it on vacation or at the cottage? Is it when you stop working and take a break?

Or, is it that soft, calm, sensation inside you?

I know I've had many baths and struggled to feel that soft, calm inside.

I've been on the dock, looking at the beautiful sunset with that uneasy feeling about the work left undone.

True inner peace isn't found in your surroundings. Surroundings can help you create inner peace - a peaceful atmosphere is easier to feel at peace in than a chaotic one, for sure.

But you can be in the most peaceful place on the planet and not feel at peace.

True inner peace is something you create inside you. It's an experience. A feeling.

And it's a feeling that you can create.

You choose what's happening inside, what you focus your mind on, and what you believe about yourself and your life.

That's why self-awareness is so powerful.

To be aware of what you think and believe is the first step to choosing peace.

Learn how to become self-aware and create that place of peace inside with my free guide: 3 Tools to Find Inner Peace. Grab the free guide at the link above or the pic below.

We all need peace in our busy stressful lives. Peace starts with daily practices to train the mind to quiet the mental noise. Just 10 minutes a day is all it takes.

Are you secretly holding yourself back from the life you actually want?

We all have big dreams and changes we want to make. But how many times have you stopped yourself with thoughts like these?

"I can't afford that."

"I don't have the time right now."

"I'm just not ready or skilled enough."

Here is the truth: those aren't facts. They are just limiting beliefs your mind uses to play it safe.

The most frustrating part? Even when you force yourself to ignore those thoughts and do the thing anyway, you usually get hit with a massive wave of guilt or anxiety.

Why does that happen? Because changing your surface-level thoughts isn't enough if your root beliefs remain untouched.

How do you change these limiting beliefs?
How do you get that inner voice to support you?

onight! 7:30-9pm on zoom...

I am guest speaking at Sacred Connections Circle presenting my Inner Change workshop featuring my Self-Transformation Method - which is the content of my book and my course!

Experience a shift in how you respond to your triggers.

What a great thing to experience! A change inside you that stops you from reacting the same old way.

We all have these patterns.

The ones where something happens and you react automatically in a way that feels icky.

You can change that!

And I will show you how. ... Tonight!

Our reactions are governed by our beliefs.

Our beliefs form our foundation that tells us how to navigate human life.

When our beliefs are contradicted in some way, we react.

"Gasp! She disrespected me!"

"Oh you did not just do that!"

You can almost hear the belief statement behind these thoughts:

Respect is non-negotiable

Appropriate behaviour is...

And you can feel the emotion in those thought statements:

Shock, annoyance, anger, hurt.

Yet we don't have to respond like that.

We can rewrite and edit our beliefs to soften our responses and/or completely change our responses.

I'd love for you join us tonight to experience a shift in a belief that doesn't support you.

Send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE if you want to attend and give me your email to ensure you get the zoom link.

Something happens.
A thought appears.
A feeling follows.
And before you know it, you are suffering — not because of what happened, but because of what your mind decided it meant.

With self-awareness, catch yourself in that moment!

Not to fix yourself, analyze your past, or tell a better story — but to step out of the story altogether.

Through conscious awareness, watch the emotions arise, feel them in your body, listen to the thoughts the mind generates, and question the beliefs beneath them.

Then choose peace by choosing to replace the belief causing the emotion with something that uplifts you instead.

When you change the words inside you, your experience changes. Sometimes instantly.

Not sure exactly how to do this?

Struggling to step out of the story - need some mental training tools to help you?

Find this harder to do than it needs to be?

Want some help to create change to your inner dialogue and inner experience?

I can guide you through this... and give you tools to use on your own forever after.

The Self-Transformation Method 6-week course will change your life.

Course starts Thurs April 23 - this Thursday.

7 pm each week for 1.5 hours (2 hours first week.
On zoom or in person in Sandford.

You know in your heart what is true and supportive for you.

The ultimate question to ask yourself is: do your beliefs support the inner experience you want to have?

Tonight! Your opportunity to explore this question.

Inner Change mini-workshop

Message me if you want the zoom link. 7 pm ET. On Zoom.

I just put the finishing touches on my presentation.

I'm going to guide you to:
🔹 learn and experience the consciousness tool, observing with detachment.
🔹 use specific visualizations to separate your mind's view from the dramas of your thoughts and feel safe to explore your inner dialogue.
🔹 learn how to identify the root source of thoughts that don't support you and emotional responses you don't want anymore.
🔹 question that root source to contemplate it's truth.
and create something new that will uplift you instead.

It's all about consciousness and self-awareness and I'm going to show you how to shift that inner dialogue.

I hope you can join me. I'm excited to share this stuff with you all.

Let me know if you want to join and I'll forward the zoom link.

P.S. This is an abbreviated version of my Self-Transformation Method. Get a taste of what is possible when self-awareness meets conscious choice.

Here is the back cover of my book, The Self-Transformation Method: A 6-Step Process to Transform Emotional Struggle into Lasting Inner Peace.

Let me know what you think!

Does it grab your attention? Does it make you want to read it?

I'm interested in your thoughts. It has been written and submitted as this. So I'm not seeking advice on how to make changes. I value knowing your response.
-----
What if inner peace is a choice—even when life feels overwhelming? Your struggle isn’t the problem—the belief behind it is. Change that, and emotions shift.

Emotional pain can feel like an endless cycle of triggers, overreactions, and stress. You try to fix it. Control it. Understand it. Yet the same patterns return.

What if the struggle isn’t the problem?

What if inner peace is a choice?

You are a conscious being with the power to choose what you believe, think, and feel—even in the midst of intense emotion. What’s missing isn’t strength or positivity. It’s the awareness to see the belief behind your pain—and the tools to change it.

In The Self-Transformation Method, Susan Ward draws on more than twenty-five years of personal practice and professional work to offer a compassionate, grounded, and spiritually expansive guide to lasting emotional freedom. Instead of managing emotions, you will learn to transform them at their root.

Through a clear and practical six-step process, you will learn how to:
• Recognize emotional triggers without being consumed by them
• Uncover and question the beliefs shaping your reactions
• Create new beliefs that support peace, self-love, and emotional freedom
• Discover the deeper spiritual meaning within your struggles
• Integrate conscious awareness into daily life

You don’t have to stay stuck in stress, reactivity, or long-standing emotional pain. Change the belief—and your emotions shift.

Inner peace is not something you achieve. It is something you choose.
-------
Let me know your thoughts.

(I'm sharing some content of the book... I'm giving you a small taste of the tools I use in the book and applying them with focused intention to gain insight into something you currently struggle with. This can be a daily stressor, a person driving you nuts, a patterned triggered response you have that you want to shift. We all have something that can shift to give us more joy or peace in our lives.
So join me for this free complimentary mini-workshop: Inner Change on Thurs April 2, at 7 pm ET. On zoom. DM me to get the zoom link. )

When something feels hard what do u do? And why does it feel hard?

Let’s look first at what you do. Do you shut down going into fear and anxiety? Do you buckle down and get 'er done? Do you jump into learning mode to expand your understanding to gain confidence in what you need to do?

This awareness helps direct you to take action to create the inner experience you want.

Now, why is your mind interpreting the task as hard? Is it because you are unsure of what to do? Lack knowledge? Or do you doubt yourself and your abilities? Lack faith in yourself?

What belief is hiding behind all of this?

The first thing to realize is that it’s hard because you believe it is hard. But is that true? Are you stuck in one of the issues raised in the above questions?

The next thing to think about is: is it hard because of how you define yourself? Do you believe that you are incapable or stupid? Or do you believe that learning something new is challenging and a challenge is difficult? Or perhaps you fear others judging you for lacking knowledge or skill?

Dig deeply into this.

When we interpret something as hard, stress often follows. Yet it doesn’t have to.

When you are aware of what you believe and question the validity of that belief then you can change how you interpret the situation.

You can choose to "buy into" a belief that your task is hard and wallow in difficulty OR you can choose what to believe about the task and yourself and meet it squarely with resolve.

It’s a powerful process to get inside those beliefs and change what causes your stress.

If you’ve ever wished you could step back from your thoughts and see them with more clarity, then join me for a free mini workshop: Inner Change and experience a glimpse of how that’s possible.

Thurs April 2, at 7 pm. On Zoom. Registration link is in comments.
