Our Grief After Su***de Support Group is wrapping up this week. What a meaningful time to connect and support one another during a difficult season.

We would like to provide continued opportunities for connection and support through Grief Support Group Drop-in Sessions for any farm families going through any type of loss and grief:

My counselling service provides specialized mental health support for agricultural producers and farm families. The Farm Stress Line below if available 24/7 for any crisis.

As of April 1, SaskAgMatters will manage the Farm Stress Line, which provides 24/7 confidential support to help producers and their families manage the unique pressures of farming and ranching.

The toll-free number will stay the same - 1-800-667-4442. Through SaskAgMatters, producers also have access to counselling services with professionals trained in agriculture.

I highly recommend this training Mental Health First Aid for everyone - you learn how to support friends, family or coworkers experiencing a mental health concern. Have you ever wondered what you should say or do when someone is struggling? This type of information is so needed in our rural communities so I am happy to see it’s available in Assiniboia in March.

We are trying again and hope we have chosen a better time for everyone to take part in this valuable training! Registration required!
