Don’t let someone’s grief become someone else’s notification.

Today, news travels in seconds.

A Facebook post.
A tagged photo.
A shared obituary.
A notification on someone’s phone.

But when someone has passed, not everyone should have to learn about it from a screen.

Before sharing a passing online, pause and ask:

“Has the family had a chance to tell the people closest to them?”

What feels like a loving tribute to you may be heartbreaking news to someone else who sees it unexpectedly.

When it comes to loss, privacy is a form of kindness.

We heard you. 🤍

Our last Death Café brought together some wonderful conversations, thoughtful questions, plenty of listening—and, most importantly, a community that wanted to do it again.

So… here we are, back with another Death Café! 🌹

Join us on October 1st for another evening of open, honest conversation about death, dying, and fully living.
