As Co-Owner of Platinum Home Care, I work closely with seniors and families through some of life’s most sensitive transitions — from dementia support and everyday companionship to end-of-life care and advocacy.

I’m a Care Aide, Certified Death Doula, and End-of-Life Specialist, with specialized dementia care training and a deep belief that people deserve to feel seen, respected, and supported in their own homes.

Originally from Venezuela, Canada has been my home for the past 21 years, and South Delta has become a community I care deeply about. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me camping somewhere in beautiful BC, relaxing in a hammock with a coffee, or spending time with the people I love most. ☕🏕️

Meet Maureen — the heart behind Platinum Home Care

After more than 20 years in healthcare — including working as a Primary Care Paramedic and Personal Care Aide — Maureen founded Platinum Home Care with one mission: to bring dignity, consistency, and humanity back into senior care.

Through both professional experience and caring for her own family during mobility challenges and end-of-life journeys, she saw firsthand how overwhelming and fragmented the healthcare system can feel for families. That experience shaped the compassionate, hands-on approach that Platinum Home Care is known for today.

Maureen is deeply committed to helping seniors remain safely and comfortably in the homes they love while supporting families through every step of the journey. From dementia care and hospital advocacy to helping families navigate equipment, resources, and difficult decisions, she believes no family should ever feel alone.

Beyond caregiving, Maureen is a devoted wife and mother of four, proudly raising her family in South Delta. She loves bringing people together around food, conversation, and community — values that naturally flow into the culture of Platinum Home Care every single day.
